Sweet Tomatoes - Tomball

For a vegetarian, this is a great place to go. It's wonderful in atmosphere, the smell is enchanting, and it has some extremely fabulous drinks (loved the strawberry-kiwi mix). It's a great place to go with the family, and their salads are always fresh and varied. They even label their foods as vegetarian-friendly, if so. The only thing about it is, sometimes it can get a teeny bit overcrowded or noisy (ususally on weekends) and that you might have to wait for some things to be ready, since they do serve it fresh. It's not vegan-frindly, though; only a couple of vegan options and some salads is as delicious as it gets, so for vegans, I wouldn't recommend it. It has a great dessert bar with fruit, though.

It's ahrd to find chain restaurants that are good about labeling their food - Sweet Tomatoes makes sure to note if their offerings are vegetarian friendly - leaves the vegans to fend for themselves on the prepared foods, but it's a start. Food is fresh, place stays clean, employees have hairnets/hats & gloves & there are two-way sneeze guards. The atmosphere is on the stark light/pleather booth side, and the clientle runs the gammut from business suit to questionable. (I confess, I love to people watch there.)But overall it is good.

This is one of my favorite restaurant because the food is fresh, mostly raw & they have plenty to choose. There's some cooked pastas & soups & some meats, fruits & deserts, but I love the buffet where I can make my own salad, just like I like it. The workers & manager treat you special & the place is very clean. The price is affordable. I highly recommend it.
