Pretty average - Edit
You can get a classic trdelnik here but nothing really makes it stand out. It is baked in front of you and the ingredients are clearly listed on a laminated card which is nice but there are a few other spots where you can see they offer vegan trdelnik options and it is a very high- traffic area, making it a bit stressy.

Great option - Edit
Their whipped cream is made with soy! I let the employees know I wanted a vegan option, the options are classic or strawberry jam. I had the classic filled with strawberries and whipped cream on top, it was quite good!

Nice sweet treat - Edit
After seeing these all around Prague, i really wanted to try them but was unsure on whether they could be made vegan.
Read moreIn Sweet Dreams they confirmed their dough is vegan, and some options like their soy whipped cream, strawberry jam and (obviously) fruit are vegan, so I ordered them all lol.
It was very good and it definitely hit the spot after an entire day exploring the city.

Yummy sweet treat - Edit
For vegan options you could either get a traditional chimney or with strawberry jam. They also had non dairy whipped topping and bananas and strawberries for fillings. I got the strawberry jam chimney stuffed with bananas and topped with whipped cream. It was very delicious!

Vegan Chimney Cake - Edit
Sweet dreams offer Chimney Cake with different fillings. The dough is vegan and some of the fillings like fresh fruits and strawberry jam. They have also vegan whipping cream as a topping. We got a Chimney Cake with fresh strawberries and whipping cream, which was very good!

Little spot for the traditional czech sweet Trdelnik. The dough is vegan and some adds are vegan too. Ask the staff which options are available.

Room for improvement - Edit
One of the very few places offering the Czech specialty, Trdelnik, with vegan dough and (only) a few vegan fillings.
Read moreI personally thought it was a bit dry and tasted too sweet, but it was still interesting to try.
Pros: Vegan dough
Cons: Very limited in vegan fillings, a bit overpriced (in my opinion)

Plain or with fruit is vegan - Edit
One of the few places that seem to know what options were vegan. I have never had one before, but found it a bit dry and heavy with simply marmalade and strawberries.

Veganes Trdelnik - Edit

Good to have the option - Edit
We were pleased to know they these were suitable for vegans but I think they are more "accidentally vegan" as they don't cater much for vegans in terms of filling. Two options of fresh strawberries or just strawberry jam. One per person was a bit much this way, they are quite filling. Staff weren't the nicest either.

Barely vegan - Edit
While they did have a vegan dough and vegan options, they were very few. The staff was also absurdly rude about it.

Tasty local food - Edit
Only 2 options both strawberry. I think normally you have ice cream inside. It was good and very sweet but a bit dry from just strawberry jam. Nice to have some local food though!

Always dreamed of vegan Trdelník - Edit
I had Trdelník before I was vegan, many years ago and I don’t know if their recipe would have been vegan or not but it was much better than the one I had here. This one was quite dry and not so tasty, very heavy. That being said, I’m grateful to have had a vegan Trdelník!

Sweet treat - Edit
We read the reviews before coming here, so knew that we would have limited options. Therefore, we decided to get 1 chimney cake with jam and strawberries, and 1 with just jam, and we both thought they were really tasty! The dough wasn’t too sickly, the strawberries tasted fresh and they were big enough to keep us going for a few more hours. Definitely cannot complain, even with the limited options, as we both know how difficult it can be to find vegan baked goods. They were clearly very popular, but the wait wasn’t too long, and the staff were able to easily confirm the vegan options in English.

You have to ask for vegan options, they to have 2 or 3 different fillings. The guy was super annoyed and unfriendly. All in all a bit disappointing.
