questionable food hygiene - Edit
of all Surace shops I’ve seen, this one had the most flavours but the least vegan ones. no vegan labels either.

had to wait very long until one waiter felt like serving me and my friend. upon the question which flavours were vegan he said only the fruity ones and that we should go to a different Surace shop further down the road.
green tea stated 100% vegan, so i asked for this. it was running down the cone when i paid so i tried to push it back up with my finger. the guy saw this, took my cone and put the ice cream back in the tub and got me a different scoop. i told him that i had touched the ice cream and it wasn’t very hygienic to put that back and serve this to other people. he didn’t understand.
his colleague stepped in and served us professionally but didn’t understand my concern either.
wouldn’t come back.
Pros: creamy ice cream
Cons: no vegan labels , mainly fruity flavours, new staff didn’t seem properly trained

Surace offers many vegan choices, some of them including non-dairy milk (soy) ice cream. I personally can recommend pistachio and my absolute favorite "Torinese" (hazelnut) which is the creamiest vegan ice cream I ever had! The cones are gluten-free, but still are quite good, but a bit crispy.
Read moreIt's hard to decide, but I'd say Surace has even better ice cream than Eis Greissler (creamier).
