Ask to make sure your food is vegan - Edit
I originally asked for a gluten free bagel with almond butter. They told me that the gluten free bagel was not vegan, so I said a regular bagel is fine and paid for that.
Read moreI saw one of the workers bring out the bagels from the back, and when I saw the label, I had a feeling from seeing that product in the grocery store, that those bagels are not vegan. I asked, is it possible to double check that the bagel is vegan? They checked the bagel and sure enough, it was not vegan.
I asked if there is a substitute, and they said they have gluten-free, vegan bread. They double checked it, and it was gf and vegan, so I said, that's fine.
Eventually, they brought it out: two pieces of "toast" (unclear if it was really toasted), with one swipe of almond butter on each piece of bread.
In total, my family and I ordered three coffee drinks, 2 muffins, and my bagel-->"toast", and the total was $45 + tax + tip. That is exorbitantly high for the quality of the food and drinks and being almost given food that was not vegan as I requested.
Pros: vegan options, gluten-free options, not corporate
Cons: almost given something not vegan , high prices, mediocre quality of food and drinks

Delicious & Raw - Edit
I love coming here as a raw vegan and even when I bring friends who are not raw/ they leave happy and full!
Read moreThe smoothies and bowls here are absolutely fantastic. The walnut taco wrap/salad are another one of my favorites. They sell delicious homemade pies that are raw in the freezer section (peanut butter chocolate and strawberry cheesecake!!)
The market is adorable and so many lovely items to purchase to use at home in the kitchen or to eat.

Old school health food café - Edit
While I love that there’s a vegetarian café in town, the food offered feels like things that I could easily whip up at home. I would like to see them update the menu in the future and give them another try!

Had a wonderful lunch at Superfoods Cafe. My only regret is that I did not know it was here on the first day of my two-day class.

So many options - Edit
I've been coming to superfoods since they opened. The area where the wine bar/seating is used to be a natural foods/vegan market with so many options. They've phased it out into a small selection by the front door, but their incredible cafe options have exploded since then. If you have allergies, the vegan chicken option is the seven grain breaded gardein chick'n tenders. The vegetarian chicken is the Quorn breaded patties, and the gf option is the vegetarian chicken pieces with no breading. The gf and vegan option is the Hillary's hemp and greens patty. My favorite items on the menu are the super veggie sandwich, the Aztec smoothie, the mint chocolate chip smoothie, and their selection of baked goods (usually vegetarian and gluten free, have eggs in them).
Read moreThe owners used to be raw vegans (may still be), so don't be afraid to specify any "weird" vegan request you might have. They are super knowledgeable.
Pros: Lots of vegan options , Changing menu
Cons: Pricey. , Half vegetarian

So Glad I Came! - Edit
I work like 15 minutes away and there are no other vegan friendly places nearby. This is my 2nd time back in a week. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. I told the young lady at the counter I was vegan and what I have previously eaten (their homemade taco grounds are the BEST). She recommended the super veggie sandwich and said it could be made vegan. She then asked if I wanted to trade the bread because their WW wrap had honey. I asked for it on Ezekiel bread but have had their coconut paleo wrap before, too. Lots of options! I also ordered a green lemonade juice.
Read moreEdit: Still love it. I ordered a hummus and help wrap and an iced dirty chai latte. Also, they have raw food vegan cooking workshops!

Cute, fresh, versatile menu - Edit
Any menu that lets you add in options is going to be A plus in my book!
Read moreI hope to dine here one day when Covid isn't a thing, but for now, I'm happy about this eatery because it has so many great choices!
I love the raw desserts that have avocado in the key lime cheesecake like vegan raw dessert and the dates in the chocolate pie slice. Yum! A little goes a long way, so though the portions look kind of small, they're actually very generous.
The wraps have so many choices, I don't know where to begin! I am happy they have choices for vegan collard wraps and vegan gluten free wraps - so nice to have so many choices. I lost count of how many choices you can have for your wrap! I've had two wraps, and they were both good - the collard wrap has a nice cashew filling and veggies, and the southwest wrap has a nice spicy walnut "taco meat" filling flanked by crisp romaine lettuce, very tasty!
The only downside to this cute eatery is I have a large appetite, and I did feel the portions were a little small for the wraps.
I'll be back - there are so many tasty things to try! Salads, smoothies, açaí bowls - count me in!
Pros: small business, raw collard wraps, raw desserts - vegan and gluten free of course
Cons: portions are kind of small

Everything is available in a vegan version if it isn't already. - Edit
Cute little place with a ton of options! Seems like everything is available in a vegetarian, vegan or gf version. Smoothies, wraps, sandwichs, coffees, soups, salads, deserts, juice bar, breakfast. They even have vegan cheese (Chao) and I think I even saw they have vegan ranch. House made cashew cheese and hummus. I got the pesto chick'n wrap and it came with a side, I got the PB chocolate chip cookie dough balls, and I also got a orange creamsicle smoothie. (all vegan) was incredible. Wrap was a great size. Will definitely be back. Wish this place was closer to my house!

Vegan Option in my Hometown - Edit
Having grew up here from the age of 5 to 18, I was pleasantly surprised when I came back for a visit and my sister took me here straight from the airport to grab a quick bite. I turned veg in high school and if Superfoods existed then, I would have been a frequent customer. Not only is it a natural food store, but they have a cafe as well. I got a veggie wrap and was quite satisfied with the portion and preparation. I find that there is a balance in a properly made wrap, to be struck between the veggies and the dressing/hummus, or thwow thing can be a watery mess. They do it right here.
Read moreThey have a variety of wraps, among smoothies and other goodies. Most of the vegan options are labelled as such, so are the organic ingredients. Happy that people have an option like this in such a small town.
Pros: Friendly Staff, Good Values, Good Food
