Absolutely amazing! Best Chinese food I have ever had. I wish we lived in Florence so we could eat here every day. The have lots of Bubble Teas too!

Read moreWe found that the one waiter did not seem to want to be there, and it was difficult to communicate with him.
The starters (dumplings) came after the main course. They didn't give us any serving spoons so we had to ask for one.
It was all absolutely delicious however!

Delicious chinese food. The dumplings are really recommendable. But it’s really hard to communicate to the waiters and the Menue is quit difficult to read.

If you're vegan and like Chinese food a visit at Su Guan will satisfy your craving for authentic Chinese food. We tried the hotpot and dumplings and cannot say anything but amazing. So fresh and tasteful.

Good food overall, seaweed soup with tofu was absolutely amazing - would return just to have it again. Nice staff, fair prices. The menu wasn’t the easiest to navigate but it wasn’t a problem either

Lovely little restaurant with a fully vegan menu in the heart of Florence. I loved the dumplings, aubergines, cumin seitan and spicy tofu. Want to go back to try more dishes

Highly recommend. Got the ravioli steamed- 9 big dumplings for 9€, not bad at all. The spicy hot pot was delicious and had the bibimibop without egg. The server was a little unclear about the egg being real or a vegan version but we only received amazing vegan food. If this was available where I live, I’d be here at least once a week. Other reviews speak of some dishes not being as good but I’d say these 3 are gold star, fire dishes. The two of us couldn’t finish everything but we tried our hardest and didn’t want to throw in the towel but the value here is real.

Su Guan offers dishes with more traditional and fresher Chinese ingredients than most Chinese restaurants I’ve dined at (in the States). All the food looked delicious, and I went with only one plate, the tofu hotpot.
Read moreThe tofu, mushrooms, and veggies were all fresh and the broth light in substance, dark in color, and herbal in flavor. The sauce was lighter and less rich in flavor than I imagined it would be, the tofu more plantiful than the vegetables came, and the rice was an added charge. I’d love to return and try something with more sauce.
Come prepared with some knowledge of Chinese or Italian if you have special needs.

So! To start off the food was good! Some meals could be a hit or miss tho. The hot pot was the best thing ever but my partner's dish was not so great it was just noodles soy sauce? Since the picture was a little misleading but we mixed both together and it was perfect.

SuGuan is literally my favorite restaurant in the world. I go every single week. There’s something about the charm of the place, or maybe it’s 奶奶 sitting in the back peeling garlic, that’s so comforting. I trust SuGuan with my life. My go-to plates are the sour mushroom soup (the one that’s €15) and the hotpot (€12). They are both very filling and have very complex and delicious flavors. I also suggest the steamed or friend dumplings, they are always great and have us fighting over the last one. The vegetable soup (at the very back of the menu, €4) is the most comforting flavor I have ever put in my mouth — it literally feels like a hug, and it’s a great appetizer. I 1000% recommend going!

By far one of the best restaurants Ive ever eaten. Good prices, nice servers and amazing food. I highly recommend the fried mushrooms and the open dumplings. Ive eaten here twice in 4 days and I wish I could stay longer in Florence just to eat here again. My non vegan boyfriend is also impressed.

Have you ever read a manga or watched an anime and - all of a sudden - felt unexpectedly hungry because of all those incredibly good looking and attracting dishes? Well, in this little gem near Santa Maria Novella Station those dishes come to reality! Everything is vegan and incredibly tasty!!! Fully recommended! Hope to come back asap😄

Very good food, super delicious! All vegan and quite a big menu. However at the moment there is also quite a lot crossed off the menu. But the options are still great and the staff is very nice. She speaks very good English and offered for example the hot peach tea that was not on the menu because they didn’t have the rose tea at the moment. There is not many tables so a reservation is definitely recommended. We were lucky to be there early and still get a table without reservation. It is a bit expensive, but it was definitely worth it.
