Warming flavors on a cool and rainy day - Edit
We happened upon Steamy Buddha cafe on a rainy Saturday and we were excited that they were open, with several tasty vegan options. We had heaping bowls of gingery sweet potato soup, topped with toasted leeks and balsamic. The soup was accompanied by sourdough toast with olive oil. There were some vegan quinoa bowls and a toasted tofu sandwich. Chai, coffees, and teas are available with oat or almond milk. Yoga classes, cooking classes, and community potlucks are held on site.

i have had the best time here on my travels and best part is that its connected to the hot yoga studio so its perfect scene and vibe for self with yoga classes and nourishing light fulfilling good vegetarian and vegan dishes.
my fav is their sauce and dips so savory and buddha bowls as well as the buddha bowls. tofu sandwiches with the veggies always a go to for me.

Wholesome - Edit
Simple food, made well. Make sure to tell them you’re vegan as they use ghee regularly but they’ll use olive oil instead if you ask.

Relaxing spot for lunch - Edit
We stopped in at Steamy Buddha for lunch, and they had flavorful, healthy vegan options. We all got Buddha bowls, and they also had a delicious vegan gluten free chocolate chip cookie. There is also plenty of outdoor seating. We got our food to go, but I look forward to eating outside in the future. They also sell smoothies and other drinks, and there is a small shop selling pottery and yoga supplies.

Expensive but delicious - Edit
Beautiful outdoor dining area with adorable lighting. Not as many vegan options as I was expecting there to be because most menu items are cooked in ghee. But the vegan items they do have are completely delicious. High priced, but seriously so good!

Great tofu tacos! - Edit
Very friendly staff, tofu tacos and vegan chocolate chip cookies were very tasty. Specify if vegan to make sure food is not cooked in ghee, chef happy to oblige. One of the cooks is vegan and developed the taco recipe. There is a vegetarian/vegan menu.

Tasty little Health spot - Edit
Food was good although I prefer mine saltier. It's a yoga studio with a health-minded cafe. Very small menu. Kinda pricy. Lots of vegan options.

Fresh ingredients - Edit
I had the tofu tacos, OMG, so good. Made with fresh veggies and tofu on the best corn tortillas I've ever had. Had a vegan chocolate chip cookie for desert, also excellent and fresh brewed ice tea. The menu has many vegan options, make sure you say vegan as they also make vegetarian items.

Cons: None, loved the food, best I've had in Maine.
