Decadent cake options

Came here after a fraught drive around in my MG Midget. I basically wanted to sit somewhere quiet and enjoy a good strong cuppa after taking on Colchester's traffic in a 1972 sports car that wasn't designed for clogged up town centre traffic systems!

Firstly, the staff are VERY allergen aware (dairy for myself) so the natural conclusion is they are also very dietary requirement aware.

Plenty of plant based milk alternatives. The same goes for spread in sandwiches- no hassle there.

There are plenty of vegetarian options on the menu. I didn't see many for vegan BUT it seemed they were pretty adept at accommodating for dietary requirements.

There were two vegan cake options today. I was captured by the salted Caramel choc cake which I brought home in a take out box. Absolutely delish!!!
