Best Indian food in Oshawa

This restaurant has just updated their online menu and every vegan option is highlighted which is very helpful. Vegetarian section as well. Many vegetarian options can be made without dairy and the staff are very nice and understanding. Only downside is that they produce a lot of garbage with their takeout.

Pros: Amazing food , Friendly staff, Detailed vegan options on menu

Cons: Not very eco friendly and use styrofoam

Great vegan options

Excellent Indian dishes with many vegan options

Pros: Many dishes are vegan, Dishes can be accommodated upon request

Cons: Staff used to be friendlier in the past

Delicious Indian Food

There are quite a few vegetarian and vegan options. The service is good.

We got the appetizer platter and it arrived with paneer (which I had my brother eat), vegetable pakora, and onion bhaji. It was good, especially with the dipping sauces. Unfortunately they were out of vegetable samosas.

We ordered the vegetable vindaloo and it was the perfect amount of heat.

The channa masala was underwhelming.

Just a heads up to my fellow vegans - the naan has milk in it, which my servers helpfully pointed out.

Gem in downtown Oshawa

Great restaurant with helpful staff. They are very knowledgable about what menu items are vegan or can be made vegan. Vegetarian items are marked on the menu. Delicious food, reasonable prices, especially at lunch, and large servings. The owners are supportive of the local veg community. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because they also serve meat.
