Cool place

Not many vegan options on the menu but Jolene's kitchen made me vegan tofu sushi to order. Simple and delicious. Also got fresh beignes from taste of congo - fresh and not too sweet!

Pros: Supporting community!, Fast considering made to order

Cons: Wish there were more vegan menus

Love The Concept

I decided to come here since I was nearby and it has nice reviews. This is a small space with about 4 to 5 different restaurants. I went wanting to try Jazzes but they were closed so I went with the Ethiopian restaurant. I ordered the Injera rolls with stuffed peppers. I really enjoyed the injera a ton. It had good flavor. It also came with a salad and potatoes. I’ll definitely be coming back here to check out Jazzes.

Fun food business incubator with many vegan options

This place is amazing! I wish more people would go and support! It is a food business incubator that supports women of color and immigrants in starting their own food companies, with a selection of stalls to choose from and indoor/outdoor seating. At the time of this posting, the ethnicities represented are Congo, Ethiopian, Gambian, Cambodian, Afghan, Filipino, and East African. All the women who work here are amazing, very friendly and talented chefs. Most of the stalls have multiple vegan options, and you can always talk to the women about making modifications, they are happy to work with the ingredients that they have. I got something from the Cambodian stall that was not on the menu, she made me a vegan stirfry with tofu and rice that was fantastic.

Check the Spice Bridge website for the most up-to-date schedule of which stalls are open on any given weekday. The fun thing about this place is that if you return on a different day of the week, it could be a completely different selection of food!

Please come and support these businesses! They have been hit hard from the pandemic as most places have, but you will be supporting a good cause and have truly delicious food at the same time. They also do food boxes, 12 box minimum with 7 days advance notice.

Pros: Diverse choices, multiple stalls to choose from, Supports immigrants and women of color, Mix and match several vegan options

Cons: Limited tables indoors

Jazze’s Organic Afghan @ Spice Bridge - fantastic veg options off I5!

As others have mentioned, Spice Bridge is a space with rotating food vendors. We visited on a Friday and were lucky to be able to lunch at Jazze’s, and had:

Boulanee - gluten-free almond flour based pastry somewhat similar to Indian paratha, and served with a similar green chutney and yoghurt on the side. . We had 2 pieces filled with potato and onion, and 2 filled with pumpkin. So good!
Burani - roast squash with spices and a flat bread on the side. Served with yogurt on top which can be omitted to make it vegan.
Ashak - this was my favorite: leek dumplings topped with spiced lentils (seemed firm like chana dal) and yogurt (which again, if omitted, makes the dish vegan). Wow, I could eat this all day! It kind of reminds me of Turkish manti, but I actually liked this better - the tomatoey spiced lentils really put it over the top.

I was super bummed to see that Jazze’s wouldn’t be in on Sunday when we’d be swinging back that way, but we’ll be popping in to try one of the other vendors I’m sure.

Fantastic!

Spice Bridge houses four start-up restaurants each day. The day I went WUHA, Ethiopian food, had a veggie injera roll and veggie sandwich on the menu. Wengavegetables. (Philipino) served Pancit Bihon, thin pan-fried noodles with wegetables.. Moniques Hot Kitchen had veggie dumplings. I sampled all and they were great! A fabulous lunch and a good cause.

Pros: Variety to choose from, Esting and doing good at the same time, Hot, fresh, delish food

Cons: Hard to find

a variety of options

This is a small food hall with rotating small restaurants. We had the Ethiopian and Filipino food, both were really great. The food hall is a food business incubator giving immigrants and low income families a way to start a food business. We can't wait to go back and try some of the other 8 restaurants

Pros: many vegan options, really friendly, excellent food

Cons: not all the vegan ooptions are clearly marked
