Tasted so much better the next day

I’ve been meaning to try this place for ages. They have an array of vegan pizza and one with a pumpkin cream base so I just had to try it.

I ordered two pizzas via Uber Eats for delivery. La Vegana (tomato base with courgettes, aubergines, sweet peppers and vegan mozzarella) & La Contadina (pumpkin cream base, vegan mozzarella, garlic oil and chestnut mushrooms)

I have to admit, I was slightly underwhelmed when I first tried it. The pizza was slightly undercooked for me and a little cold by the time it arrived.

But waste not, want not, I ate the leftovers for lunch the next day and it tasted fantastic. Re-heated the flavours were coming through really nicely and the pizza was nicely cooked (slightly harder dough, not too soggy and raw) and I can understand why this place gets good reviews. Looking forward to trying other pizzas on their menu.

Updated 3rd April - my second visit but this time I went to the restaurant and I ordered the bruschetta for starters and pasta with special side salad for main. Wonderful flavours and very authentic Italian cuisine. Definitely one to try :)

Delicious pizza

I was so happy to see several options for vegan pizza in the “veganopli” section, including pizzas with white sauces. The vegan mozzarella is really tasty. This is the closest to Italian pizza that I have eaten in the UK.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Reasonable prices, Good service
