Cozy spot in downtown Toulouse. Stopped here for Sunday brunch because essentially everything else was closed. Their brunch is completely vegan, but make a booking if you can because it’s very popular and I actually had to wait roughly an hour to get a table. For 22€ you get a set menu consisting of a hot and cold beverage, four small savory dishes, and a dessert. Everything was quite tasty, especially the mushroom fois gras over rustic bread and this pumpkin filled with some sort of cauliflower cheese. The dessert was a chocolate mousse cake over an almond and pear base and it was also quite delicious.

Since I’ve also stopped by on quite a few occasions and tried a number of their normal savory options and their desserts—after 3pm they serve only drinks and desserts—and those are definitely something special. Every single one was absolutely delicious. My favorites so far were the galette du rois, the chocolate cheesecake, and the flan cafe but every one I tried was nonetheless amazing. Highly recommend coming here for their desserts.
As for the rest of the menu, they have three savory dishes (a burger, savory pancakes, and a buddha bowl) that they change slightly each month). The burger is particularly delicious with homemade vegan brioche bread--highly recommend! The savory pancakes are also quite delicious. Finally, they recently started serving breakfast and their banana pancakes with homemade nutella are amazing!
Overall, this is any favorite place in Toulouse and definitely worth visiting.

I finally tried this one. It was tasty and good healthy GF vegan food in a nice place, yes. But I found it too expansive to be honest. Even if it's kind of a paradise for me to not have to read all ingredients or ask for it when I order, I probably won't go twice.

I had lunch at Sovaga last Saturday (after having tried a couple of other veg restaurants which were super full), and after waiting for 10 minutes we managed to sit down at a table. The atmosphere is great, the place is really cozy and all waitresses are really kind. There was a positive vibe all around.
Read moreThe food is good, I tried a vegan soup and a mixed vegan dish with broccoli, chick peas, and salad with a brownie. As for the dessert, the fruit crumble was really tasty!
Prices are probably slightly higher than other veg restaurants in town, but not excessively so.

Fine and healthy (almost) vegan cuisine! - Edit
Sovaga is a brand new vegetarian restaurant (almost all vegan, except for eggs in some dishes) in the very city center, near the place du Capitole. It offers a dish of the day, hummus, quinoa bowls, wraps and desserts. It has gluten-free and raw options. Every dish has very nice flavours, it is very well presented and served quickly. The place is very pleasant with a modern and vegetal decoration. The staff is friendly and portions are fair. I found prices a bit high but the quality is here. I hope they will quickly remove eggs from the two or three dishes containing them since they are really not useful!
