Read moreFor Christmas, I ordered three entrees and two appetizers here, vegan. I specified no egg, no anchovy sauce, no fish sauce, several times. I pick the stuff up and lo and behold there’s chunks of egg in it when on the receipt it says vegan, no egg. I get a refund, whatever, people make mistakes!
I decide to give the place another chance the other night and call in a takeout order. I ask for a noodle dish made vegan and specify no egg, no fish sauce, no anchovy sauce, etc. The girl on the phone sounded very confused, the call cut out abruptly and then she came back and said that was fine.
I get to the restaurant and I look at the receipt as she hands me the bag. It says “GLUTEN FREE” and “SHELLFISH ALLERGY” and does not say “no egg”. I ask her, does this have egg in it? She says no.
I have a feeling, so I bring the bag to the car and open it up, and there’s chunks of egg everywhere in it.
My boyfriend’s food in the car is getting cold as we go back in and tell them it has egg. The woman behind the counter (the one who took my order, btw) immediately blames her coworker and says “sorry, we got really busy”. Promises me a replacement will be ready in 7 minutes.
20 minutes later, a plastic container about 3/4 full with my finally vegan noodles is placed in my hands. I won’t be going back lol. Which is so sad, since I’ve always loved this place.
Former review:
I’ve been here about a million times as a vegan so I figure it’s time to review it. Usually if you say “can I have xyz vegan?” they’ll say yes and you won’t have to specify further.
Everything is super flavorful and delicious. :)
They’re knowledgeable about what is vegan and what isn’t on the menu.
Some of the bubble tea is vegan, but only the fruit teas. Not the actual milk teas.

Wonderful place and I cannot wait to come back! I had the Red Curry and my husband enjoyed the Mix Vegetable Stir Fry. Perfect treat to finish with - mango sticky rice!
