The second branch in Krakow. Rynek Glowny branch already listed on Happy Cow. Offers cakes, pastries, and ice cream. Uses natural ingredients. A few vegan ice cream flavors. Has oat, rice, and soy milk for coffee. Note that the sorbet is not vegan as it contains cochineal. Open Mon-Sat 9:00am-10:00pm, Sun 10:00am-9:00pm.

I recommend chałwa and chocolate ice-cream the most, but others are brilliant, too. And aloe sorbet - perfect. You'd better take it in a cup, because you can't be sure if there are no animal products in the cones.

Knowing Kraków as well as I do, I would have to say this is possibly the best place to get a fix of vegan ice cream or sorbet of high quality. Most ice cream places in Kraków now offer a vegan option but it's usually just a token gesture. I would like to be proved wrong. At least Słodki Wentzl takes it quite seriously. They have a particularly gorgeous vegan chocolate ice cream on offer as well a large selection of vegan sorbets. Mojito and cherry flavours being my favourites. This branch in the Galeria Krakowska is very modern and swish. The location on the Rynek Głowny is apparently more traditional but we didn't get a chance to visit. Take out is definitely the way to go here. I'm not one to stick around a shopping mall for too long before the agitation sets in
