Good quality ice-cream in the city centre - Edit
I am having mixed feelings about this place. Their ice-cream tastes great (the halwa flavour, oh my God!) but they usually have only 1 or 2 flavours and the portions are small. Also, the environment of a shopping centre is not my cup of tea. Anyway, if you happen to be around the main train or bus station and craving ice-cream desperately, this is your spot.

Really lovely helpful staff, although there is only one vegan flavour (chocolate) it was delicious, reminded me a bit of the vegan Ben and Jerry’s fudge brownie but just without all the stuff in it. Only 4 stars because it would be nice to have more flavours! Lady serving us also gave me 2 wafers which were different to my (non vegan) partner, so it was nice to know they noted whether the wafer was suitable as well.

I recommend chałwa and chocolate ice-cream the most, but others are brilliant, too. And aloe sorbet - perfect. You'd better take it in a cup, because you can't be sure if there are no animal products in the cones.

Knowing Kraków as well as I do, I would have to say this is possibly the best place to get a fix of vegan ice cream or sorbet of high quality. Most ice cream places in Kraków now offer a vegan option but it's usually just a token gesture. I would like to be proved wrong. At least Słodki Wentzl takes it quite seriously. They have a particularly gorgeous vegan chocolate ice cream on offer as well a large selection of vegan sorbets. Mojito and cherry flavours being my favourites. This branch in the Galeria Krakowska is very modern and swish. The location on the Rynek Głowny is apparently more traditional but we didn't get a chance to visit. Take out is definitely the way to go here. I'm not one to stick around a shopping mall for too long before the agitation sets in
