Yummy Vegan Food! - Edit
I looked up Passiflora here on HappyCow before my trip to Costa Rica. Being Vegan I needed to know my options ahead of time :) So glad we went here! It was a bit hard to find, but there are some signs in the town of Santa Elena to guide you there. I had the Arroz de Jardinero which was so flavorful. Also had some fruit drinks local to Costa Rica. Great food at a great price. Gracias & Pura Vida!
Pros: friendly staff, easy to read menu, delicious!

vegetarian choice in Monteverde - Edit
We were starving after our adventurous drive to Monteverde and were happy to find this vegetarian restaurant.
My son and I had the Casado. It included rice, beans, a salad, plantains, mixed veggies and a vegetarian patty. It was delicious and cost $10. My husband had a burrito which he said was very good.
The woman who served us was very friendly and let us know which items could be made vegan.
Pros: vegan options, friendly service
