Nice big custom meal

They don’t always specify what is vegan on the chalkboard menu — but when I asked the cashier about vegan breakfast, they said they could make a tofu scramble for me! I knew there was tofu scramble based off other Happy Cow reviews but it wasn’t on the daily menu. If something vegan isn’t there, go ahead and ask the staff and the kitchen will make something special for you. They made me a nice tofu scramble that was filled with spices, salsa, greens, and pumpkin. They even added vegan cheese.

Ok but needs work.

Cute establishment but food was a bit sub-par for the price.
Had some Tunisian sandwich. Filling was ok and a lot of food. Foccacia bread was a little stale and soggy. Just toasting the bread would have made a world of difference.
Included coleslaw was flavorless also.
Maybe this is good for Vashon Island but I'd probably skip it next time.

Good, filling, and expensive

We were a little concerned when lunch for four came to $90.00 ($19.50 for each item, plus tax and credit card fee), but the food was excellent and very filling. The restaurant was very busy, but the staff were friendly and kept us informed on our order. Everything was made to order which gave us time to look at their pastries. The restaurant definitely had a cool vibe with its attached seating area and attached bar. We sat outside but were told that dogs were allowed inside. We were definitely glad we stopped in and if on the island, we would likely treat ourselves again by paying a visit.

Loved it

Second time here, first time I got their tofu scramble and it was delicious. Today I got their vegan option open face sandwich with artichoke hearts and roasted reds.

Delicious food and coffee

Edit: another fantastic meal today! I love it here

$3 extra for vegan cheese!?

This place being a "vegetarian" restaurant, I kind of had high hopes that it would be at least vegan friendly. On the menu, it says you can sub their cheese for vegan option, which is hopeful. What it doesn't disclaim, is that they will charge you a whole $3 dollars more for it. It cost over $21 for a small personal-sized pizza with 2 small SLICES of vegan cheese on it, not even shredded so it wasn't evenly distributed. It tasted ok, nothing special, so it felt like a total rip off. Also makes one wonder, if the vegan cheese has to cost $3 more, what kind of cheap factory-farmed dairy cheese are they putting on their regular pizzas?

Furthermore, none of their pastries or desserts are vegan. That's pretty disappointing for a place that's supposed to accommodate different diets, specially for this area. We really regretted this purchase, felt like a complete waste of money.

I've had 2 delicious vegan pastries from them recently. A double chocolate cake that was so decedent, and an oat jam bar that was spiced well with cinnamon. I'm so sorry they were out of vegan pasties when you visited, I've called ahead to check. I'm simply in love with this spot. I'm from the Cape where $21 for a personal pizza is the norm and there always a hefty upcharge for vegan cheese, im sure the delivery fees get high going out to the island.

I recommend this place for lunch

Cute place they have many vegan and vegetarian options I had hummus there and it’s really good and it’s homemade. The coffee and tea there is good too.

Pros: Good food , Nice people that work there , A lot of options

Cons: Chai Tea was sort of spicy , It’s expensive

Very cool

If Vashon wasn't cool enough, this place adds to it. Live music and a cozy atmosphere with delicious vegetarian and vegan food. Would be better if it were all vegan as I couldn't have a lot of the pastries, but can't complain too much.

Now vegan when they say it is

I had the Cauliflower Wings there. I was told it's all vegan no modifications needed.
Came on with a dairy sauce, they remade it. No worries. I ate it, asked for some extra sauce that was on top of the wings sriracha base. They brought it out saying "it's actually sriracha and HONEY "
I'm starting to doubt that the batter was vegan. I'm upset.

Pros: Cute and cool design. Nice place to chill

Cons: Vegetarians ONLY really could enjoy this.

Amazing Vegan Options

The ONLY reason I don’t give SnapDragon 5 stars is they’re not 100% vegan and they don’t have vegan options for their pastries. That said- their vegan options are WONDERFUL. They know what they’re doing when it comes to vegetarian food without just relying on cheese, so making their options vegan doesn’t leave a disappointing meal but a flavorful dish worth the drive from Seattle. Every time I’m on the island I make it a point to have at least one meal here.

Great food and good music.

They’ve remodeled since I was here last and they now have a really nice little space for musicians to play and folks to watch (and you can eat, too!).

Pros: Lots of yummy baked goods, Cauliflower wings!
