Decent vegetarian food, some vegan options - Edit
Simple Life in Bangsar is located in the ground floor of "Wisma Life Care" at the entrance to the Bangsar South part of the city.
Read moreIt features some vegetarian dishes and lunch sets and there are vegan options available. However, they are not clearly marked, and when I inquired with the waitress which dishes were vegan, she answered "SOMETIMES, the kitchen might use dairy in this and that" ... I BEG YOUR PARDON???
What kind of an answer is this? This dish is vegan, unless the kitchen runs out of soymilk, then they use regular dairy milk? Not a promising answer in my book.
I have tried out the Curry vegetables pot, and found it ok, but the taste was quite bland (spicy, but not tasting of much else). So not among the best vegan dishes I have had in Kuala Lumpur, and also rather pricy (RM 20 for a lunch set). I would rank it similar to other chain restaurants like "Beyond Veggie" by Secret Recipe.
So give it a try, it is certainly an option if you are close to this restaurant, but possibly do not travel there over great distances.
Pros: Decent food, but nothing special, Easy to reach in some locations (malls)
Cons: Prices rather high for the given quality, Unclear which of their options are vegan

Found this place in the ground floor of the new medical building in this growning area known as Bangsar South or Jerichi. We had laksa and nasi lamak and both were delicious, fresh, and generouslly portioned. We are moving to this area in a few weeks and will certainly be regular customers. Yum!

Tasty food in a nice environment - Edit
This restaurant has a pleasant seating area inside an office building. I was able to park directly outside. The menu is more extensive than their KLCC outlet, but the same high standard and reasonable prices. I'm likely to become a regular here!
