Tucked in a charming courtyard in downtown Greensboro, this is an artisan bread bakery that also makes vegan sweets such as cookies, cupcakes, and muffins. About 90% of the bread is vegan. They also have a small coffee shop, Wi-Fi, deliver treats for downtown meetings and make cakes and party trays for all occasions. Reported closed to HappyCow.

Best bakery in NC!

Simple kneads always has a bunch of delicious vegan options for breakfast and desserts. They have at least one type of vegan muffin everyday that are also wheat free! I love the vegan ginger cookies, and they usually have a bunch of different kinds of vegan cupcakes that are sooo good. It's a really cute little place to hang out and everyone that works there is super nice and friendly. One of the employees told me everything they sell is vegetarian and they are certified kosher. Definitely my favorite bakery ever!

Pros: Vegan options, 100% vegetarian, Affordable
