Great food an fast service - Edit
They were pretty busy, but our food came out very fast. Lots of clearly labeled options and of course vegan milkshakes. I got a veggie ciabatta and it was delicious. Highly recommend.

DO NOT COME HUNGRY - Edit
Hostess promptly led us to a table....where we sat and waited for 20 minutes to be acknowledged as sentient beings. Never even got water. Both waitresses in our section walked right past us 30X, had a nice long convos with the lady at the table across from us, checked on the table behind us multiple times.....
Read moreI started an online order in the hopes that if I put the delivery address, "2nd table by the front door, 2 irritated looking white people with nothing else at the table," maybe we'd get fed at some point before the Autumnal Equinox.
My date finally got the attention of the hostesses who were having a nice chat with their backs to us too, they got someone to register PAYING CUSTOMERS ARE SITTING WHERE YOU WILL MAKE MONEY and Dim Bulb walks over to finally take our order.
"Sorry. I didn't realize this was my table." (You walked past us 17X without even GLANCING at us, simple courtesy, FFS!)
"You go first babe," says my date.
"Ok, thanks love. I'd like the oatmilk pancakes, NO pistachios and no coconut stuff, I want the 'buttery spread' [tapping on the menu where it says you can substitute it] instead, aaaand strawberries too."
Dim bulb answers, "So did you want pistachios?"
...."NO. I-"
At this moment, DimmER Bulb behind us manages to shatter something glass and I feel a teeny sharp something at my ankle.
I lean down and feel a splintery feeling but I can't tell what's there, so I go under the table to check, and I hear Dim Bulb trying to tell us she doesn't see anything. No $hit you don't. You're not even looking AT THE FLOOR. The woman at the table across says she felt some glass hit her feet too (and apparently DID get cut, we later overheard). I find a couple chunks of goass and swish them out onto the floor for our myopic Bulb to see.
A hostess who heard the crash and had come over tells me, "no, don't touch anything, let them clean it." Seeing ZERO people with cleaning implements, feeling whatever splinter feeling in my ankle, STILL being thirsty...fu©k it.

It’s fine - Edit
Love that there’s a diner with options for vegan and vegetarians. The options are a little slim and some of them are kind of interesting. I got the vegan benedict which was excellent, but they did forget the tempeh bacon on it which was a bummer. It was very tasty aside from that. My boyfriend got the breakfast taco bowl thing which we weren’t sure what the diff was with that and the tacos because it was still tacos, not like the taco ingredients in bowl form? he said it was just fine- we did ask for no pickled ginger as he is allergic to ginger (also kind of a weird ingredient in a breakfast taco that has bbq flavored “meat” but ¯_(ツ)_/¯ ) and there did end up being some ginger in there in a few bites.

Amazing! - Edit
This place could not cater to vegan any better than they already do, not being a fully vegan place. For starters we had the hummus plate and the avocado toast. For entree, my husband had the Impossible Meat Taco, and I had the Just eggs benedict. The quality of the food was amazing! I am so glad that they brought the eggs Benedict back, and that they opened a brand new shiny restaurant right here in Fredericksburg. There is hope for this town yet!
