Well-Rounded Vegan Menu - Edit
A cute and cozy spot with an array of clearly marked vegan options on the menu. I was brought here by a non-vegan regular patron who spoke highly of their vegan menu— and it definitely delivered.
Read moreAll of the food was tantalizing, well-seasoned and thoughtfully prepared. I tried the Wood Ear Mushrooms, Gummy Noodle, Pan-Fried Vegetable Dumplings and the Mapo Tofu. This was my first ever experience with Mapo Tofu and it was so fun! The broth was aromatic and tingled each and every tastebud. My favorite dish of the night was the Gummy Noodle. Perfectly satisfying, nutty and packed with umami flavor.
I will say that either the server or the kitchen made a mistake during our visit and we were served an incorrect non-vegan item. We ordered vegetable dumplings but we were initially served pork. The server was very apologetic and gave us a discount on the entire bill. We eventually got the correct dumplings. Just be mindful of this and clearly communicate with the server when ordering. Upon reading other reviews, it looks like this it not the first time this has happened.
I look forward to returning with friends to try some other new dishes and share them together. I really want this business to succeed because I live in the neighborhood and good vegan food like this is hard to come by.
They also have show-stopping non-dairy frozen pineapple margaritas and a vegan dessert as well! I did not try those during this visit, but it just gives me another reason to return.

Luckily I recognized that they served me meat before I ate the entire dish. ( I did taste it and quickly realized)
Read moreI ordered the Dan Dan Noodles from their Vegan menu and when we got it there was ground beef and hard boiled egg on it. In a day age of mock meats and even mock eggs, it was plausible that it was plant-based. But I tasted the tiniest bit of the substance in question and sure enough, it was meat!! Turns out it was ground pork I asked the server if we definitely got the vegan meal. The server was nice and this was not their fault. They went to the kitchen and asked. Since they didn’t bring the dish right back I know it was meat they served me. I finally got the servers attention and verified that it was not vegan. The chef was making a new one but I told them “No Thank you”. I don’t trust that they will serve me an actual vegan meal.
If you come here as a vegan, please make sure there is no animal products in your food.
I am disgusted that I consumed animal, even as small as it was. Never once did the chef come out to apologize and they didn’t comp any of the bill. Not Even the 1/2 price appetizers. I do not recommend this place to vegans. There is too much possibility that you’ll be served something non-vegan.
I want to emphasize again that the server was nice and not to blame. We did leave them a tip but it would have been a much better tip if I had a better experience.

This place are exceeded our expectations. The ambience was fantastic. Service was on point and very attentive. House-made canned teas were unusual and refreshing. I tried multiple dishes, some that were adapted to be vegan, some that were regularly vegan. All were incredibly delicious. The adapted ones did not suffer at all, and stood up on their own. Desserts were also intriguing and yummy. Can’t wait to go back!
