Filled a Japan-shaped hole in my heart - Edit
Really sweet, relaxed little restaurant with a clearly marked vegan section on its menu. Starters were excellent; the mapo tofu main was less spicy than I expected, but tasty and beautifully presented nonetheless. The lady who served us was lovely and seemed so passionate about providing great vegan options, but mentioned that they don’t currently get a lot of vegan customers, so please visit 🙏 we will certainly be back to try more dishes!

Beautiful food, wonderful service - Edit
My wife and I decided to check this place out after finding it on here. We went with our 18 month old daughter who fell asleep on the short journey over, and as a result, she was in a pretty bad mood when we woke her up. The staff were very understanding and helped us to distract her until the food came out.

The chef asked us if we enjoyed the food afterwards and asked if it was too spicy, which surprised us because it was rather mild... He said the vegans who come in usually can't handle spice 😆
Looking forward to returning again in the near future! Oh - one thing is that there's no high chairs, so be sure to bring a travel high-chair if you have one.

It’s a small restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere, and very friendly staff. I was surprised to find out they have a whole vegan menu! I opted for the lunch set menu for £12. They can adapt it to be vegan and so I chose the pumpkin croquettes, veg gyoza, veg tempura curry with rice and it also came with miso soup. Everything was so delicious! I will definitely be coming back to try more.
