One of my favorite restaurants in Stone Town - Edit
It's overall quite pricey because the restaurant belongs to a hotel but it has a really nice atmosphere and offers creative and tasty food. The menu has vegetarian/vegan marks so it's easy to know which one to order. Make sure to try the veg dumplings - super tasty!

This restaurant was my favourite spot for breakfast when staying in stone town for work. They have a vast smoothie menu with a focus on healthy options, and always had non dairy milk. The coffee was good as well. I enjoyed the coconut porridge for breakfast and tried their vegetarian bowl (without yogurt) for dinner. The staff were great, sharing the wifi password and brought me a surprise start of hummus!
