My favorite place to stay in Taiwan. - Edit
I've visited this guesthouse four times now, and every time is amazing. It's English friendly with plenty of parking. The views from the hotel are absolutely stunning. On a clear night, there are a million stars and when it's rainy, it's like you're in the clouds. They cook a fresh dinner of local produce that is either vegan or ovo-lacto. 100% recommend!

Exquisite vegetarian restaurant and homestay - Edit
If you are in Qingjing this is a great place to visit for dining, enjoying the view, or even staying the night.
Read moreIf you want to have a meal here you must call ahead to make a reservation. They serve a set meal of several small dishes, you can specify vegan when you reserve. It is a bit pricey but the quality is excellent. The dishes incorporate many locally grown ingredients and are very healthy.
The garden and view is lovely, especially at sunset.
As for the homestay, the rooms are clean, comfortable, and on par with what you would pay elsewhere in Qingjing.
Pros: excellent quality food, friendly, clean and comfortable homestay
Cons: expensive meal, must book ahead

Beautiful spot for Qingjing visitors - Edit
The owners have a large collection of teapots on display. We went in a party of three, so the only option we had was getting the 7-course set (NT$350 per person +10% service fee.) The staff confirmed whether we ate eggs before putting in our order. They used different kinds of nuts in several dishes, and the presentation style was reminiscent of kaiseki. You can help yourself to more white rice if one bowl isn’t enough. They also have tea bags and a hot and warm water dispenser. Nice folks, and probably the only veg*n option in the area as of June 2020.
