Delicious and Filling - Edit
We decided to go here for lunch. It was full so we had to wait for around 15 minutes for a table but it was worth it!
Read moreI got the falafel flatbread (it's not marked as vegan on the menu but the waitress confirmed that it is vegan) and Purp got the vegan street stack. They cost €16.95 each.
I have a rocket intolerance (I get burning stomach pain if I eat it) so I asked for the falafel flatbread without the mixed leaves. The waitress explained that the leaves are a large part of the meal, and that they didn't have any other lettuce that they could use. When I said that I'd leave it then and went to leave she offered to use spinach instead. I'm not sure if she genuinely just happened to remember the spinach at that point or if she wasn't willing to make any substitutions until she saw that they would lose business, but I was happy to have the spinach so that's what I got, and I'm glad that I did! The whole dish was very flavourful and incredibly filling. I struggled to eat the whole thing! And as a side note I think that the spinach went better with the meal than rocket/mixed leaves would have.
The vegan street stack was very tasty as well, but I'm glad that I hadn't ordered it as it would definitely have been far too salty for me to eat the whole thing.
My only complaint is that one of the bathrooms was out of toilet paper.
I'd definitely eat here again if I was back in Westport.

Galavanting in Westport continued - Edit
For our lunch choice in Westport we went to servd, which seemed really busy.
Read moreI got the street vegan stack and GC got the falafel flatbread (requested vegan and no rocket). Unfortunately these seemed to be the main options other than salad 🙄
I wasn't expecting much of the food tbh, I thought that it was mostly going to be veg.
I was pleasantly surprised, the stack had potatoes, tofu some peanuts, rocket, crispy broccoli, lettuce, sliced chilli peppers and at least 3 different sauces and some kind of thick peanut paste.
It was delicious, one of the best meals I've had in a restaurant in Ireland by far.
GC also seemed to enjoy the falafel flatbread mix, even though they were full about halfway through it. The portions were fairly good though, I have a decent appetite and it stopped me being very hungry.
I didn't get a drink this time other than the free water, but they seemed to have a good drinks menu and didn't seem to charge for milk alternatives which is a huge bonus. The meal came to about €34, which in Ireland isn't that bad especially since the food was that good.

Great tasting - Edit
Only 2 vegan options but made up for that with deliciousness! We both had the vegan Shakshuka (wild mushrooms instead of eggs), which was very nice, especially the peanut satay sauce They also have smashed avo.

Even though they only have the 2 vegan options, I would come back for the Shakshuka again 🙂

Tasty - Edit
My mum and I had breakfast here, I had the smashed avo on toast (much more like guacamole in texture but very delicious) and Mum has the shakshuka which is veganised by swooping the egg for wild mushrooms. Soooo tasty. They state their hot chocolate is vegan and they have alternative milks. Really friendly staff.

Breakfast, brunch & lunch options - Edit
Spacious cafe has a homey vibe and offers quick service. Their vegan food options are clearly labeled and can be easily customized to your preferences. They have a great variety of plant-based milk options. Dirty chai was absolutely delicious! If you're ordering Shaksuka, be prepared for a generous portion. Highly recommend!

Big, balanced portions - Edit
It's not cheap but prices are average for that area. The portions are very decent size, with veggies, fats, proteins, and tasty. We tried two of the vegan options- falafel kebab and vegan stack. Highly recommend.

I ate in Served couple of times and the rating is based on that. I really appreciate that you can choose vegan option from the menu. The execution is not always on the same level, few times I was disappointed however there was also few good enjoyable meals Served.
