Wait time was a slightly longer as she prepared the food from scratch and was definitely worth the wait. The flavours were incredible and tasted really fresh. We have the vegan curries with cashews. I recommend adding the cashews.

we went there after we read all the good reviews and thought we would have a nice christmas dinner here. let‘s spend some money ( y not; it‘s xmas) cause it‘s rly expensive (compared to all other restaurants.) i was really looking forward to this dinner experience. but:
Read morewe had to wait for one hour and we were really hungry. i really wanted to like the food. but it was the most tasteless food we ever had in sri lanka. also, we asked specifically for authentic sri lankan spice (yes, really hot please! we‘re used to it), this was basically ignored even though the waitor assured us that it‘s very hot (it was not even spicy…)
when we paid i told the lady, that the food was disappointing. she didn’t even ask what was wrong but started yelling at me. (very professional… )
i asked her to not yell with the customers but obviously she couldn‘t handle the criticism and started to insult us and said we were liars.
all in all a very bad experience and definitely not worth the money.
the fries were good. but i had to eat more fries afterwards in a bar because i was still hungry. couldn‘t eat up (was not good).

Separate menu for vegan options, all items clearly marked. We had a veggie kottu, mixed salad, and a banana „milkshake“ with coconut milk (like a veganized lassie). Very delicious food and friendly staff with prices typical for a touristy area.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They have a separate vegan menu. We had Rotti which includes tofu. Also a burger but the burgers are different mixes of veg in a burger bun. All very tasty just not what we expected. Very small portion of chips. Pancakes with vegan choc sauce were excellent sized portion- we shared. Bit pricey compared other places but overall worth it.

Read moreTo start with we turned up and there was no one to be seen, i almost walked back out thinking it was closed until a staff member appeared a few minutes later from a nearby building.
There was three of us and we ordered two different types of pasta - the mushroom & tofu creamy pasta and the tomato based pasta, as well as a vegan coconut milkshake. We thought all of the food was really bland unfortunately, literally had no flavour, even the milkshake. Maybe we chose badly and should have got the curries or something but wanted something a bit different after a while in Sri Lanka and was just really disappointed.
I also appreciate this is out of their hands but all the seating is outdoors and we got absolutely bitten to death by mosquitos.
On the positive side, the portions were large and the staff offered us takeaway boxes for the bits we didn’t finish.
Overall I wasn’t very impressed but maybe it was an off day…

Read moreeverybody knows tofu has no flavour. I highly doubt about the comment you have put on the Cocunut shake. That was a 100℅ cocount based organic drink which we freshly picked up from our garden.
Further, we have mentioned the ingredients in our Menu clearly then our customers exacly know what they are eating. This is 100℅ of customer's choice.
Moreover, we have no control over the mosquitos, as you saw we have tried our best to prevent it.
Finally I am bit surprised of the comment you have put here. I have asked you about the dish and you said good with the smile on your face. If you have said me at that moment, I would prepare a another dish free of charge. Also, Sri lankan vegan food are more delicious than the Western vegan food since we are putting a lot of spices there.

We came here due to the other reviews being so good. Our experience was ok but nowhere near the other reviews. Half of the vegan menu wasnt available, there was only one chef and our meals came out way after eachother so my partner had finished eating by the time i has my food. Potato Curry was ok but not amazing same with the spaghetti. The only staff member was really nice and welcomming.

Stumbled upon this place after realizing I was hungry after hanging out on the beach across the street. There was only the young guy running it and a few of his friends there and I sat down as the only customer. It was welcoming but quiet which might be a turn off for people only going somewhere because it’s busy. Don’t let this deter you! I ordered the potato curry roti.. omg it was so amazing.. simple.. fresh.. delicious. The sauce was so creamy and addicting. The Roti was made and baked fresh. It was just so good.. 100% need to come here on your way to Galle or just in general because the town is also so cute. But please get this dish. You won’t regret it.

We went there to have some vegan food, as it was written on the entrance and ordered kottu roti and veggie roti. It was freshly cooked, tasty and delicious! The vegan banana milkshake could have been less banana and more coconut milk, because it was viscid but it tasted good. The vegan dishes are declared, they have a few options and the owner who is also the cook and waiter was very kind and attentive. He told us, if we would like to have more vegan options like jackfruit we could pre-order it. We did that and the next day he made us kottu roti with jackfruit and a jackfruit burger. He also cooked the jackfruit seeds, delicious! We came back another day to have the potato and dal curry and weren't disappointed, it tasted amazing.
