NOW in their new storefront centered between the 2 parking lots of Oceanside R/R Station! Nice sit down dining area & planned to add seating on patio soon as warms up a bit. Wheelchair accessible.

She creates each & every item you might find @ your average NY Deli but have lost in your decision to choose the ethical way to live & support our environment !
Chef Tiff has worked long & hard to create numerous proteins that will truly replace any need to subject any animal to a life of suffering & then an early death!
She can do a Reuben, a chicken wing, various Italian specialities and many other treats that make you realize there is no need to have dead flesh on your plate!
Open currently Thurs. - Sun. & @ least in April 2026 planning a special Easter Sunday menu for us all. The menu includes a Roast Beef w'carmilized onions, Arugula, Provolone, Balsamic Drizzle & Horseradish Sauce which is my fav but do try her Italian Hero it will blow your mind! Lots & lots of various salads including many standards, various deli "meats" by the lb. to.take home and a perfect lentil soup! Absolutely everything vegan & a fair # of items GF! Also a # of desserts & packaged chips & candy.
Bring your non vegan friends & family & share w'them how easy it is to be vegan!!?

My husband and I have been eating Secret Vegan Kitchen's food at pop ups for years and today we went to their permanent home for the first time and it's great! There's old school deli counters with vegan deli classics as well as cooked items. We loved the food we ordered (onion ring burger, onion rings, chicken parm hero, mozzarella sticks) as usual, and my husband took home italian combo hero and deli goods to go. They take into consideration traveling and ensure there's no soggy sandwiches 😊. There's tables and chairs for approximately 10 people to sit.

Tried their gyro and the seitan was dead on. Overall the sandwich was just OK (could have used some hot sauce), but they really got seasoning and texture down. Even the tzatziki was one of the better vegan ones I’ve had. Sometimes they taste too coconut-y but this was more neutral. Nicely done. 👏

I can't help but notice establishments that stretch, that reach for something new and experiment. Vegan places have diluted themselves by sticking to safety. I love vegan cheesesteaks and burgers and hotdogs, and I still reach for them from time to time, but I'm drawn by new, something I've never had (and buy the cheesesteak as a supplement). Secret Vegan Kitchen grabbed me with the corndog, then piqued my attention with the ramen corndog. The corn dog is a perfectly battered hot dog rolled in ramen pieces. It crunches before giving way to the fast food delicacy. It was worth the time, the money, and the experience. Well done.

Went to their pop up event at Principles GI Coffee House today and was very ready for their fried chicken and mac n cheese- it was all so yummy, served in a bucket with a choice of dipping sauce and tater tots. Cooked fresh right there, I thought it was fairly priced for what you get (and they gave us two sauces at no extra charge!) I can't wait to try other popular items on their menu soon, will be stalking them for their next pop up!

Reubens were my favorite food before I went vegan and maybe it’s just been a while since I had one, but this vegan reuben was downright incredible. Juicy, flavorful. I ate it in about 2 minutes flat. The owners are super friendly as well. Worth every penny and every minute spent waiting on line.

I've been going to trivia at LIC Beer Project for a while, and Secret Vegan Kitchen has been there during most trivia nights for quite a while. Since I have Celiac, I hadn't been able to try any of the food, but once, when I mentioned this to them in passing, they made it a point to bring gluten-free options the next time they were there. They made corn dogs, dumplings, and fries, and everything was INCREDIBLE. I couldn't tell any of the food was vegan, let alone gluten free, and their flavors were on point. I'll definitely order their gluten-free options in the future since everything they have is so damn good.
