I read previous reviews, and stopped in anyway looking for takeaway and baked goods. There was a long line, and as I looked at the vegan options while waiting, everything was so pricey that I couldn't justify ordering anything, even baked goods for a snack. I live on the island, and the prices were even too high for me to justify buying a special little vegan treat for the road. In addition to lunch, I needed granola for breakfasts at home, and though I loved the look of the bagged granola at the Bakehouse, it was so expensive that I took the time on a hungry stomach to buy oats and nuts down the road to prepare for the hour at home to make granola rather than spending $16 for 12 ounces at the Bakehouse. I arrived hungry and needing snacks, meals, and takeaway, and could not justify any of it.
