Great vegan options - Edit
Nice breakfast buffet with vegan options. For example very nice homemade tasting baked beans, bread, Müsli and oatmeal, spreads, almond butter (rather sweet). I asked for the Rösti, it is also vegan.
Read moreOne thing to improve are the labels. Sometimes they clarify if it’s vegan or not but it is not consistent. Things like the Rösti or the coconut chia pudding are not labelled.
Cons: Labelling could be improved

Lovely stay with excellent breakfast - Edit
The rooms are lovely, and their dog friendly rooms have a cosy dog bed, dog treats and a dog bowl.
Read moreFor breakfast, included in the price, there is an extensive all you can eat buffet. Yes, you have to smell the meal stuff (hence not 5 stars). Vegan breakfast options included: chia pudding with toasted coconut, rosti (hash browns), baked beans, crudités, many breads, Philadelphia vegan cream cheese, vegan spread, 4 plant milks, almond butter (sugary), melon, oats/porridge, cereals, many gluten free options too. Help yourself to coffee and extensive tea selection
Pros: Huge breakfast choice, Lovely rooms for dogs and humans, Very near the train station
Cons: Meat served that smells strongly

Great breakfast buffet - Edit
I am not sure if they have a vegan option at this Scandic location in Aalborg. The assortment tends to be slightly better in Sweden. However, at this particular Scandic location in Aalborg, they have a very vegan friendly buffet with vegan yoghurt, spreads and soy milk for your coffee.
