Great Thai, Very Accommodating - Edit
I'm surprised it took this long for me to finally try Sawasdee. They are undoubtedly one of the best Thai restaurants in town, with a wonderful indoor dining area and great service.

My friend and I shared their fresh Spring Rolls, Green Curry Tofu, and Ginger Stir-Fry Tofu. On the side we had two bundles of sticky rice.
The spring rolls were amazing! A half order gave us two large pieces and they were filled with veggies including alfalfa sprouts, an ingredient not commonly found usually! The peanut sauce was 10/10.
We ordered spicy for both main dishes and boy, these were SPICY. I enjoyed the tongue lashing but be careful if you are sensitive to spice. Both were fantastic and complimented well with the sticky rice. Wish there was more tofu in both dishes but it was still a fabulous selection. I would get all of these options again in the future.
Service here was fantastic. Very friendly and made sure that our waters were filled especially after all the spicy food we consumed.

We did a door dash order so I called ahead to ask about veganizing dishes by leaving out the fish sauce and they told me they did not use fish sauce! Yay! So we order curries, a brick dish, and spring rolls and just specified tofu for the protein. Everything was delicious and the omnis with us were happy too! Just wish that vegan options were labeled.

Lovely Pad Khee Mao - Edit
Sawasdee in Soquel is definitely a cute Thai place to stop at. I wish I stayed for service, since it was just take-out. The team that works there is incredibly kind and knowledgeable of vegan options, this is a nice place to stop at.

This location was very disappointing to me. I sent my meal back because the vegetables weren't cooked (who wants crunchy carrots in their Thai Basil dish?). And the dish that came out after this swap wasn't much better.

I'll stick with the Sawasdee by the Sea location across from Main Beach in Santa Cruz. I love that place.

Happened to be in the area and with the corona crisis we were happy to get to go food from here. They have a separate vegan menu with plenty of options. Had the eggrolls, green curry and pad gra praw, all three very delicious and the staff very friendly

I came here not too long ago, and I immediately loved it. They are much more veg friendly than Star of Siam. However, its a pretty small space for a restaurant. Parking also sucks, you have to park down the street (not that bad I suppose). The veganized my pad thai and it was soooo good. The service was really good too, they were very on top of their customers and wanted to help.
