Quaint little pizza joint with big vegan options! The menu is vegetarian with nearly everything vegan possible if you substitute vegan cheese. All of the desserts and daily soups are also vegan. The service was so friendly I would definitely go out of my way to come back to Savor!

There's no wheat products in this restaurant and I can tell you, you don't miss it. I got a vegan pizza with veggies and their homemade vegan cheez. Absolutely delicious and had plenty to take home.

Magnificent for a vegan or anyone else - Edit
It is hard to imagine a more wonderful dining experience. I say that as a vegan but I think it would apply to anyone. (Happy Cow won't allow me to give this place 5 stars because it is not exclusively vegetarian.) From outward appearance this place might seem to be nothing more than a pizza place in a small mall. But once you enter the door you are in a warm place, where the food is made fresh from scratch and you are treated like family. This is because it is run by a family whose dedication to the restaurant is total. When a friend and I were there our server was mom carrying her baby in one arm while dad was right behind working in the kitchen area. The baby, just 9 months old, was bright-eyed and as friendly as mom and dad. Oh, and did I mention the food? We ordered a salad, vegan lasagna, and vegan pizza, all made with coconut milk cheese made right on the premises (though regular cheeses and meat are also available). The taste was unique and magnificent. What a find! But it has already been found, judging by the customers flocking in. This restaurant is a shining success story, which is great for me since I want to keep eating there.

When nearly every reviewer here mentions how friendly the servers are, then you know it must be true. Indeed, this cafe should be called the true and only Friendly's.
Read moreOh, and the food is excellent, too. The whole wheat pizza crust is so thin as to almost be a cracker, different but still delectable. While Daiya is not among my favorite brands of vegan cheese, the other toppings more than compensate. And for the high quality, the prices are just right.
The only downside is the cramped interior, not conducive for engaging in intimate conversation with your dinner companion. But an easy workaround is to eat outdoors on the entrance patio, which is sheltered from the elements, so comfortable for three seasons. Though a strip mall exterior, outdoors you are afforded a sense of privacy. Or just order takeout, for home sweet home.

I've lived in Fairfield County for 2 years now and I've been here 3 times. The owners are really nice and friendly folks. The food is really good here. I'd recommend for anyone, veg, non-veg folks to hit this place up. Really healthy dishes to choose from. It can get pricey when you start subbing and adding on.

The owners are vegans from Kosovo who use strictly organic, local ingredients. The "True Vegetarian" pizza we had on multi-grain crust with Daiya was amazing and so was the organic green smoothie (dairy-free and gluten-free w/no added sugar).

Amazing experience. The food was delicious, the service was great. Ugh, the menu is amazing...so many options for vegans. I didn't see that they have mock meats but that's ok with me. I'm happy with daiya cheese and all of the delicious veggies and sauces..and the GF crusts...omg. ALSO my vote gets swung whenever a place has vegan desserts...so yeah, this place was a winner (see chocolate pie in pictures)

Savor is an extremely warm and welcoming restaurant with a fabulous owner who loves healthy food. Everything is organic. The pizza crust is thin but surprisingly filling! Our family absolutely loved the food (we had 2 large vegan pizzas for 4 people) and their juices instead of sodas. It is very braces-friendly for our son, even the crust is nice to chew. If we could, we would give this restaurant five cows, but HappyCow only allows 4 cows for restaurants that serve meat. Excellent pizza, friendly, hilarious and warm-hearted owner, and a nice tone and vibe. Over all, a great place for vegans, vegetarians, or anyone who wants to eat healthier with great food!

This is a place where you can get a much healthier than usual pizza! Rex and Val own and run this little place with love and personal service. You can get their thin crust pizza with whole wheat or gluten-free rice crust and vegan cheese. Most or all of their veggies are organic. Their lasagna can also be made vegan and is truly delicious!
Read morePrices are a little high, but I feel it's worth it because the ingredient quality is very excellent. We go regularly because we love the food, but also for the overall experience.
Seating is limited, take out and local delivery are available.
