Im Nachhinein hätte ich mir das Sommerspecial gönnen und den großen Teller nehmen sollen. Ich habe fast von allem etwas probiert und es war alles soo lecker. Ich wünschte das gäbe es auch bei uns.

I had a medium plate and at first thought it was kinda small and I wouldn’t get full but in the end barely finished it 😂 everything I tried was really good and I also liked that there is a sign with the dish’s ingredients on the top (only in German tho I think) so that’s helpful if you have any sensitivities. Staff was very nice too.

The two Sattgrün restaurants are my favorite places to eat in Cologne. It is all plant-based and super healthy. You pay per plate and since everything looks so incredibly delicious it’s hard not too get too much. Very much recommended.

Sehr zu empfehlen! Essen lässt sich selber am Buffet zusammenstellen, Preis je nach Tellergröße. Ausschließlich vegane Hauptgerichte mit kalten Beilagen-/salate.

Geschmacklich war alles vom warmen Buffet super, nur war das meiste leider nicht mehr heiß/warm, sondern eher lau. Das fand ich total schade. Wir haben drinnen gegessen und auch sehr schnell, weil wir es eilig hatten und trotzdem war nur ein Gericht richtig heiß, das auch gerade neu gebracht wurde.

Ansonsten ist das Konzept toll. Ich liebe es von verschiedenen Dingen zu kosten und mir ein buntes Allerlei zusammenzustellen.
Wir hatten zum Nachtisch noch einen Apfel-Kirsch-Crumble mit Vanillesoße, die jedoch eher künstlich (nach Vanille-Aroma) geschmeckt hat; der Crumble war jedoch klasse.
Pros: Tolle Auswahl, Alles vegan
Cons: Leider sind die warmen Gerichte meist nicht warm

Read moreFür Erstbesucher wie mich wurde sich ausführlich Zeit genommen, den Ablauf und der Auswahl-Möglichkeiten der verschiedenen Tellergrößen oder Bowls zu erklären. Diese werden am Ende nur anhand der Größe und nicht nach Gewicht berechnet. Eine Auswahl an Suppen mit Brot war auch gegeben.

Das Buffet kenne ich schon aus Düsseldorf, es ist immer reichhaltig und sehr lecker. Auch der Kuchen schmeckt richtig gut. Toll wäre es, wenn die Gerichte auch mal getauscht werden. Bis auf 1-2 saisonale Gerichte, ist es immer das gleiche. Punktabzug gibt es für die dreckigen Toiletten, das war wirklich nicht schön.

We went there for dinner and chose the medium sized plate and took everything we found on the buffet because one dish looked better than the other and we couldn't decide for only one. 😂 It was a wild taste with different flavors, but it was amazing and tasty.

The restaurant has a great variety of warm and cold dishes, which you can choose from. There is definetly something for everyone and some dishes change with the seasons. I also can't recommend the cakes enough, they are super tasty and the pieces have a great size, especially for the price.

Delicious all vegan buffet - Edit
Not exactly cheap, but worth the price! You can choose from three plate sizes and then fill your plate with as many things from the buffet as you can fit on it. I was there two times and some dishes stayed the same while some changed, all of them completely plant-based and delicious.

You can't go wrong here: Veggies, potatoes, giant-sized pieces of cake, garlic is labeled 🧄 Not a budget place but very good quality, around 40 seats outside close to all central shopping places under a besutiful tree 🌳 Two subway stops f/ central train station. Note the statue of Konrad Adenauer opposite of outdoor area: He was Lord Mayor of Cologne, and after he came back after the [censored] time, he became chancellor / prime minister of Germany.
