Opened in April 2017, Sapporo Japanese Restaurant Kathmandu is located at the end of a quiet lane in Baluwatar. Relax in the shady, peaceful garden during warm summer days and evenings, or guests can choose traditional Japanese seating as well as standard tables and chairs. Private rooms and parties are available by reservation; reservations / advance orders will receive priority in the kitchen as Sapporo aims to provide the best possible experience for all guests, family and friends.

They are serving the best Japanese food in town, with great service, a whole lot of options for vegans like me and provides separate sitting area for vegans who aren't comfortable to eat near meat. Such good people with such good hearts and an AMAZING chef!! Must Try, Must Go! I highly recommend Sapporo Japanese Restaurant😄

Great vegan menu - Edit
Great vegan food, ask for the separate vegan menu. Very friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. Not super cheap for Nepali standards, but you can taste their passion and the freshness. HappyCow doesn't allow giving 5 stars to a restaurant that serves meat, but I would anyway.
