Classic pub pie

Very tasty plant-based "steak" and ale pie with delicious mashed potatoes, gravy, and steamed broccoli. The menu also offered a plant-based burger, cauliflower and red pepper curry, dishes with plant-based cheese including stuffed portobellos and a couple of weekday lunch sandwiches, and a chocolate-orange tart with vegan vanilla ice cream. Chill atmosphere with friendly staff. If you're looking for classic pub food I highly recommend it! Note the kitchen closes between lunch and dinner, and Mondays and Tuesdays are rotating menus with resident chefs.

Good ales, nice roast

Visited on Sunday
lunchtime. There was a vegan roast option.
It was very nice & I had a good beer.
