5 pieces of falafel and lettuce for $14 - Edit
I was starving so I stopped by since they label all their vegan options. Big mistake.
Read moreMy “falafel plate” worth $14 was 5 little falafel balls, some romaine lettuce, and two tiny triangles of horrible pita bread (neither fluffy nor warm). Not to mention, 3 of my falafels were fresh and crunchy, while the other 2 were cold and mushy, as they clearly had been sitting there for a long time.
No wonder I never see anybody in here, the food is gross.
Pros: Labelled vegan options
Cons: Extremely pricey for little food, Horrible pita, Cold and mushy falafel

Would give 5 stars - Edit
But 5 star rating is reserved for fully veg restaurants. Get vegan falafel sandwich, dolma plates, pistachio halva, and more. Sometimes veg specials. Has a vegan tahini lemon sauce. Does not fry meat in the fryer or pan for falafel so no cross contamination. Samir’s has been in business 44 years. Samir himself is the only cook, and knowledgeable of vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free, gluten free. He is always there and can tell you what you can order vegan. Samir is pleasant and obviously cares about veg and GF customers
