Beautiful vegetarian spot with great wine and peaceful vibes - Edit
Bar Salto is a lovely find for vegetarians in this remote part of Extremadura. The menu is entirely vegetarian (with plenty of vegan-friendly options), and everything we tried was fresh, colourful, and full of flavour. Dishes are made for sharing, and the portions were just right for a relaxed meal with wine.

The natural wine list is a big bonus. All the wines are low-intervention, many from small producers, and staff are happy to explain the options or make suggestions based on what you like.
Not many places combine thoughtful vegetarian food and interesting wines in such a relaxed, remote location. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
