Tasty and inexpensive

The falafels were very tasty. When I went there were two vegan sides which was a pleasant surprise. An entree also comes with lentil soup.

So much flavor & food

Plenty of vegan flavors, properly labeled, and overflowing from whatever vessel you choose. Easily the best vegan meal for the price, and comes with a free lentil soup.

Good vegan options

Excellent Mediterranean food at Sajj. I recommend getting the bowl with falafel and filling up on all the toppings. They are almost all vegan except for the tatziki which has dairy in it. They give you a ton of food with a bowl - enough for a meal and a half or two meals depending on your appetite. For $12, it’s one of the cheapest, most satisfying meals on the Penninsula. I got the vegan plate once and that was not as much food, but you get a chance to try the salad, pita and rice all at once. I prefer the bowl.

Pros: Lots of vegan toppings to mix and match, Garbanzo beans and falafel and hummus for protein

Cons: Falafel can be over cooked some times

Plentiful vegan options!

Really delicious Mediterranean food with so many vegan options. All meals include a vegan lentil soup. Outdoor seating available. They only serve in disposable plastic plate so there is room to improve sustainability. Great option overall!

Pros: Lots of tasty vegan options, All meals include a vegan lentil soup, Outdoor seating

Cons: Only serves in disposable containers and plastic

Loved the falafel salad

Lots of different options for a bowl and a vegan combo that allows you to try most of the vegan dishes. We both enjoyed it and through falafel bowl with salad greens was enough food for two meals for me.

Make your own bowl

I'm a make-your-own bowl guy. I'd rather avoid the jumbo chains (Sweetgreen, Mixt...though they are good.) Sajj, a local chain makes me feel better, supporting local. A narrower range of ingredients than some places and you can't skip the falafel, and (apparently) can't get dressing on the side through the online order facility, and the dressings aren't my favorite, but this is still a fine choice.

Pros: As vegan as you want. Farik!

Cons: Just little stuff.
