Eager to accomadate - Edit
Friendly owners and staff. Full veggie menu that statutes (which is great to see on the menu), Always had a great kitchen able to go off menu. 2024- Visited again and still so eager to accommodate. Made off menu items for us and owner and chef just want you to have a great experience.

Super good food and experience! - Edit
Can't recommend this restaurant enough! The staff is super friendly and helpful. There's a whole page in the menu with vegetarian options that can all be made vegan. Had a really hard time choosing but got the mushroom on toast and mock duck salad that were super tasty. Would say the prices are worth what you pay for as the portions are big. Vegan wines available as well.
Read moreThe location is really cosy and nice atmosphere with live music coming from another restaurant. They had warned us when booking that they were one chef short and food could take up to an hour, which was professional of them in the first place, but we could not notice anything off and got our food in maybe 15-20 min.
Pros: Whole menu for vegetarian/vegan options , Super friendly staff, Nice soundings and atmosphere

Incredible - Edit
Honestly I've never had a 'no duck duck salad' like it. And the cauliflower steak & satan is to die for. And the vegan cheesecake... well, that's a must too! This is an incredible find. The restaurant had a refurb this year and its beautiful. The staff are lovely too. You will not be disappointed!

Fantastic vegan options - Edit
Rustica reopened last night after a full refurbishment. They have now knocked the bar and restaurant into one to make an absolutely stunning space. Due to becoming so popular with vegans they have now introduced a standalone vegan menu and it does not disappoint. Not a vegan burger or currt in sight! Instead, mock duck spring rolls, beetroot carpaccio, salt and pepper vegetables are some of the options for starters. For mains you can have some serious comfort food - risotto, cauliflower steak, linguine, all sounded delicious. Plus, their cocktails are worth a visit on their own.
Read moreThe chef knows his trade and really does make vegans feel included, rather than an afterthought or an add on like so many other places ive been.
Pros: Standalone vegan menu, Different options to most restaurants , Beautiful restaurant

Excellent food and staff - Edit
Super friendly waiters and waitresses, made us feel so welcome. They were really accommodating as well and made sure we knew about all their vegan options. The salt and pepper mock duck was my favourite, highly recommend. Their garlic bread with olive oil was also excellent. The linguine was good and felt like a proper hearty meal made with love, but was a little sweet for my taste. Lovely atmosphere. Would come again and will be recommending to friends and family.

The best place in the area for food 5* - Edit
Plenty of vegetarian options both off and on menu, with vegan options available. I had a garlic bread starter but there were bruschettas and loads of off-menu options. Vegan options were also provided off-menu.

This deserves 5 stars - Edit
The restaurant isn't fully vegetarian or vegan, but the number of off the menu options they could offer to the high standard all other meals are cooked at mean it should be!
Read moreI ate here as a meat eater, and the quality of food is phenomenal, even though their kitchen space is incredibly small. We prewarned them on booking there were two vegans in the party, and I was expecting maybe one starter and one main option (which I would've been more than happy with). But we were seated and the waitress (who is absolutely lovely) came and informed us there were no less than FIVE starters, and a selection of mains that were fully vegan.
I opted for the salt and pepper vegan duck for starters, which has to be one of the tastiest meals I've eaten in the 2 years of going vegetarian/vegan. For main I ordered the spaghetti and vegan meatballs, which was also delightful.
Fantastic restaurant, don't be put off with the lack of vegan options on the menu because they are more than willing to cater!
Pros: Multiple options without compromising taste
Cons: None!
