Please stay open forever

So good. Texture of actual donut is bloody delightful and v good fillings. Waiting til 6pm on a weekday is hard.

Sugared perfection

I’ve been getting these doughnuts for years at this point. From market days to now, with Ash’s storefront in Newtown. The business fills a hole in the market for late night munchies, and has seriously impressed so many of my non-vegan friends. He has different specials almost every other day, and they’re innovative without being the ‘trendy’ thing. I had the strawberry and cream special most recently and it was one of the best sweets I’ve ever eaten.
The doughnuts themselves are perfectly crispy and light. Sugared to damn perfection. The cream fillings have the most silky texture.
The Big Budoo Troy (chocolate ganache) is a crowd pleaser EVERY SINGLE TIME)
It’s becoming an institution in Newtown, bringing something different to the street and nightlife.
110% recommend checking them out.

Super doughnuts, super vibes

So when I first arrived at Rude Boy at 7pm on a Friday night the vibes were hot with a little queue and a full DJ ripping sick beats out the window 🙌 The doughnuts were flying out the shop like hot cakes (lol) so I went up quickly and prepaid to collect some after my dinner in town so I wouldn’t miss out. Everything looked amazing and I hesitantly asked if everything was indeed 100% vegan. Sassy Boy serving more than just doughnuts said we are 200% vegan and will always be 💚 With that, I got a recommendation for the Creamy & Dreamy doughnut with vanilla and tonka bean custard and placed my order. My man was so nice he threw in a chocolate chip cookie for free just for me 😄 Let me tell you, these doughnuts are imperceptible from non-vegan doughnuts and are 10x fluffier, softer, and more delicious than any Krispy Kreme. The vanilla custard had visible specks of vanilla bean and was generously filled, smooth, and rich. The Just The Chip cookie with choc chips and smoked red gum salt 🤌 was everything a cookie should be: large, flat, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and animal-free. Absolutely delicious. I’m going to come back and try more any chance I get. My eyes are on the soft serve doughnut next…

2.5 stars: ok, better after airfrying

The donuts were ok, much better after airfrying at home. I imagine they would be amazing freshly fried.
The mocha tasted of dark chocolate, no coffee flavour, and was a custardy texture.

Best doughnuts around

Incredible texture, huge range of flavours with daily specials. Great to share with friends AND they have a vegan coconut based soft serve!

My fav is chocolate and the vanilla bean

Pros: Range of flavours, Open late, Fluff texture
