Cafe offering a vegan Japanese amazake drink made from fermented rice. Also provides a selection of Japanese teas and coffee. Open Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:00am, Sat-Sun 8:00am-3:00am.
I didn’t come for food so didn’t ask if anything could be made vegan, but the menu looked very vegan UNfriendly.
However, the drink selection looks great! I came especially to try their amazake (Japanese fermented rice drink) which is listed as vegan. It’s so so good and is served with fresh grated ginger! It is served in quite a small cup but I still think it’s worth it.
They seem to sell several nice sounding Japanese teas and house-made sodas too, along with regular coffee. Come for a drink, and maybe ask about substitutions for the food…

Pros: Amazake!!, Selection of other specialty drinks available, Nice space to sit and read
Cons: Basically no vegan food according to menu, Maybe a side of chips?
