Don't get your hopes up - Edit
They have an entire vegan menu, but the waitstaff still don't understand what "vegan" means. Half of my food was not vegan when brought to the table, even though I ordered it vegan. They fixed it fast, but even so, the food was so-so.

Very, very good vegan food - Edit
Royal Thai is a small, family-owned restaurant. They serve a wide variety of Thai food, but maintain separate vegan and gluten-free menus. The food is excellent, imaginative, and compares well with the best Thai food in the Bay Area.
Of particular note are
- Tom Ka Tofu (wow!)
- fresh rolls (I like the avocado best)
- Keow Wan Roti appetizer (spicy)
- avocado curry
- Thai coffee
- sticky rice with mango
Very good brown rice and generous portions too. To round out all the positives, the service is always friendly and helpful. You really can't go wrong here.
