Seasonal orchard veggie burger is phenomenal! - Edit
I’ve been to Nectar many times since becoming vegan six years ago. The atmosphere is cozy. The cooks and servers are talented and friendly. And truly, everything I’ve ever had there is delicious. They make the best guacamole, the daily soup offering is always spot on. I usually get the Tempeh Reuben ( it really does taste a lot like the other kind!), but a few days ago I tried their seasonal Orchard Burger. Their house-made vegan patty is awesome. What stole the show was sautéed apples and apple butter! A bit of vegan cheese, sauce and fresh lettuce and tomatoes. It was just simply amazing. I’m going back before Fall ends to have it again. It’s a very happy place😁

We went here with adults and kids. We all loved the food. Our favorites were the tacos (their mushroom, cauliflower, and special- all were 10/10). We also loved the taco salad and kids burrito. Their vegan quesadilla was made with a creamy cashew-based cheese spread, which was tastier when it cooled down.

Been frequenting Nectar for a decade and recommend it highly! The menu has something for everyone, even kiddos. The restaurant itself is cozy, with seating inside as well as outside, right in a great part of downtown Auburn.

Plus, they have any extensive drink selection with everything from Olipop to local hard kombucha. The staff is also super nice. #Veganuary

Nice, cozy place that’s chill. The food is fresh and tasty. The Buffalo Cauliflower was amazing (my lips are still tingling!) and my husband mowed the Tempeh Reuben. I had the Jerk Bowl which was a little dry, but I poured the white sauce from the Buffalo Cauliflower and it made it moister. Tasted great and I am sated. A winner.

Taking our 33 year old Pilot son to Sacramento from Nevada City for his shift, we wanted some place vegan/veggie to eat at. We found Nectar Cafe on a search and decided to go.
Read moreOrdered two taco plates so we could share one of each with each other, but realized that they were Chorizo and Portobello both, Oh well. YUM!
And we ordered the the Howdy nectar patty. Double YUM.
We will be going back when in the area.

I had the tempeh reuben sandwich and it is just the best sandwich ever. It comes with a small salad with a tasty dressing on the side. I also had a rosemary lemonade which was really good too😊 highly recommend this place 💕

I love this place and stop here often after a hike in beautiful Auburn. There is indoor and outdoor seating. I usually go straight for the curry bowl or wrap, but I have tried many other items in the menu and everything has been excellent!

I love to stop here when I’m crossing the Sierras. This cafe has everything you could want. Delicious home made vegan food and VEGAN GELATO!!! Me and my family sat out on a gorgeous sunny day eating out desert while my littles played in the beautiful city owned courtyard in front.
