great server - Edit
The menu wasn't as vegan welcoming as I had anticipated (nothing was specifically labeled as vegan) but the server was absolutely awesome in suggesting alterations to what they have to accommodate. The food we got was all very good for what it was and we'll definitely be back.

Had High Hopes, but... - Edit
The atmosphere was a bit odd; like a Denny’s that was trying to fancy itself up with white table cloths. My family enjoyed our meals (veggie sampler, bean salad, and pasta with red sauce) but the wait was a bit ridiculous. When we arrived, only one other customer was in the establishment and he was finishing up his meal. We waited and waited and waited for water, ordering, our food, the check… Go and enjoy a nice meal, but don’t plan on being able to accomplish this in under 1 ½ hours.

It's like dining at a Jack-in-the-Box with white table cloths. This place is a trip. Unique & wonderful. The kind, friendly staff makes Roxana's a keeper.
Read moreVegetarian options abound. Three cheese pasta. Penne pasta w a zesty tomato cream sauce. Almost all the other veggie dishes are vegan or can be veganized. The Roxana Vegetarian Plate is a sampler of veggie dishes (spinach, eggplant, cauliflower). Pan seared roasted eggplant. Vegetable dumplings. House-made guacamole, hummus, lentil Soup. Vegetable fritters. Delicious salads -spinach, Mediterranean & the Balela (chickpeas, kidney beans, tomatoes, onions, cilantro, jalapeños).
