No vegan - Edit
Even though they have vegan options on the website they have NO vegan on the menu and cold not come up with anything vegan. And the only vegetarian is käsespätzle. They should be removed from happycow.

Delicious options - Edit
Great service and tasty food. They had less options then shown on some of the menu options here, the beerizza is no longer a thing. But when asked they made us a fantastic vegan flatbread! Amazing! They asked for feedback to see if they should add it to the menu! Thumbs up

Schöne Atmosphäre - Edit
Mein erstes Mal in diesem Restaurant. Ich mag es, wenn es für jede Ernährungsweise in einem Restaurant ein oder mehrere Angebote gibt.

solid vegan options - Edit
The restaurant is in the Gerber shopping mall. You can sit inside and outside. They have a few vegan options for starter, for main course and for dessert. I enjoyed the vegan bowl. The portion size is totally fine, you will be fed up. They also don't use just can corn or something, so the different bowl items are cooked / prepared equally. Good for mixed groups.

Cool vegan options! - Edit
Rothaus restaurant is located within Gerber Shopping mall in the city center.
Read moreVery handy if you wanna meet a bunch of people for going out and having dinner before.
For groups with omnivores and not-locals it could be interesting, as the restaurant offers some typical swabian/ German dishes and beer, but with a modern twist and they have a handful of creative vegan options on their menu! Everything is clearly labeled, if vegetarian or vegan.
I had a “briezza”, which should be similar to a pinsa, but made with their beer-yeast.
As a pinsa is more crispy and this dough was more of a fluffy yeast-dough, it reminded me of some kind of hungarian langos or airy flatbread.
Whatsoever, it was very yummy, topped with pesto, grilled veg and beet root chips and came with a side salad. Not a big portion I have to say, but for downtown-area and the quality 8,70€ are totally fine.
