Serves meat, vegan options available. Tearoom cafe in the village of Hayfield offering vegetarian and vegan food on the menu. Breakfast includes a vegan bagel with avocado, vegan Parmesan and chilli. Has vegan and gluten free sausages for sandwiches, vegan cheese options for sandwiches, painins and toastes. Has vegan smoothies and offers soya milk for teas and coffees using fair trade, locally roasted beans. Soup is also normally vegan as well as gluten free. Reported closed November 2024.

Dependable option if you’re in the area - Edit
This is a pleasant and friendly little cafe. The menu is basic- soup, sandwich, baked potato etc- but they have vegan cheese and sausages which gives you a couple of different options for mains. There was vegan chocolate cake and it sounds like this is always the vegan options.
Read moreThe food was good. The soup was something a bit different and nicely done. Sandwich was pretty standard but on nice thick bread. The cake wasn’t the tastiest but was fine. The price is fair.
The service was pretty slow, I think there was 3 people working in the front and 2 in the back, they have about 7 tables plus a handful of takeaway orders. It still took half an hour to get soup and a sandwich which is pretty unreasonable.
I’d still recommend it if you’re passing through or it work with a walking route. But I’d not go out of my way for it.

A Must Visit (our new local favourite) - Edit
Firstly, this is one of the friendliest, cutest little cafes I’ve been in for a while. And I live in High Peak and we specialise is cute little cafes😜There are well thought out vegan options all over the menu, from avocado bagel w/vegan Parmesan to Panini’s and chocolate cake. The lovely staff are so nice, very knowledgable and the service was quick. Soya milk and lots of hot drinks and cold. The food was really tasty (highly recommend the Shannon Panini!). We will be back next week, and the week after....
