Always Good Good Good - Edit
Every time I am in Asheville I make it a point to eat here multiple times. The Sweet Potato fries are insane. The Reuben just as good. Seriously, everything I have tried is through the roof tasty. DO IT!

I’ve been coming here for years! - Edit
Still one of my favorite places to eat. I don’t live in Asheville any more, but am down for the weekend and I’ve been twice! All vegan, all the time. Wonderful place who have done a lot of wonderful things for the community.

Good vegan options - Edit
Good lunch with vegan options. We had the chili cheese fries and got some dessert snacks togo. Friendly service and a clean facility with wifi and toilets on premise. Good luck with parking. You order at the counter and get your own water and silverware. They also prefer that you bus your own tables as well.

This place had SO many tasty options. I love that the gluten free items are marked on the menu. The coconut curry and family favorite were delicious.

Worth going back - Edit
The only place we went to twice during our visit. Food was great both times. I got the tofu wrap, but they ran out of wraps so they made it on bread instead, and I’m surprised that isn’t the normal way to serve it. So good. Went back for a very late brunch (don’t open until 11), and I think the breakfast scramble was even better. Only negative was the cake slices we got the first time we visited. They were pretty dry, though the icing was good.

This is an amazing spot! All of the desserts and pastries are vegan, and we came back later that night for a lil snackie. Loved the tempeh reuben the best!

Nice location with nice Social ambitions - Edit
I went to Rosettas due to my Trip to Ashville. The Burger I wanted to Order was sold out so I took the curry with rice and Salat and vegan ranch. The curry was for my Taste a Little Bit too spicy so that the Taste of coconut and curry itself was not so there. The vegan ranch Dressing was very tasty. Also the Point that Homeless people are Welcome there for free food. Really nice intention.

Great desserts on display. Gluten-free options, too!
Read moreMade a 2nd visit 9/16/2025 and brought my cousin and her fiancé, both omnivores. They loved it! We had a large salad, greens & cornbread, chili, sweet potato fries, and their veggie burger w/coleslaw. Dessert was a snickerdoodle cookie. Perfect!

Update June 2025 - Edit
Update June 2025: no longer serving meat! The menu is vegan with dairy cheese options. Still offering the classic menu items. Raised my review from 3 to 4 stars. I love their food and am happy they have gone back to doing what they do best!

Delicious food in a nice atmosphere, gluten free options. No longer vegan, has meat which is cooked separately. Added meat after Hurricane Helene. They have done a lot to help feed the community after the Hurricane.

I don't think this is true. Just there yesterday. Still all vegan.

Yes, still all Vegan. Hurricane Helene devestated the area. Some meat was donated and Rosetta did cook it using separate utentsils and stove and fed the hungry. Otherwise the meat would have gone bad. Most of Asheville was without power for a week, except for a few blocks in downtown where Rosetta's is located. Not only has Rosetta been an outstanding vegan restaurant for decades, she also feeds the hungry for free. She will give anyone a free plate of beens and rice in her restaurant as well as fed the water protectors and other activists.

Amazing vegan food with an even better owner - Edit
Their vegan food is absolutely amazing. Everything I’ve tried on the menu has knocked it out of the park (side of tofu, coconut curry, chili cheese fries, chips and queso & cheesecake). They also have a pay what you can meal and donated meals to people who cannot afford it along with hurricane victims. I stop by every time I am in town.

Amazing Vegan food, generous owner - Edit
The peanut butter tofu is amazing. The housemade veggie burger is the best I have ever had. Her cookies are scrumptuous. The coconut curry, family bowl, I could pretty much list the entire menu as my favorites. The owner is also a very good person and has donated food to the hungry. If someone can't afford a meal, Rosetta's policy is they can get a free plate of beans and rice. I have been a vegetarian for decades, Rosetta's is one of the best restaurants I have been to.

Still good - Edit
The tempeh Rueben is the best in town. Their fries are fresh and crispy. Despite serving meat their focus is vegan. You don’t have to worry about whether they get the vegan part right, or why you can trust it is actually vegan. They were not serving meat yesterday

I had a Mixed Drink -- I forget what it is named -- that was excellent (it had a nice herbal infusion I do remember) and the "Family Favorite " based on one of the other positive reviews. Both were superb. I was more than satisfied.

Comforting Southern Food! - Edit
My partner and I split the Veggie Nuggets and Tempalo Wings for appetizers as well as the Large Family Favorite with a side of Iron Skillet Cornbread as a shared main. The Nuggets were little hushpuppy-like triangles of flavor, and the Tempalo Wings were perfectly cooked with a nicely spicy buffalo sauce! The Family Favorite was large, indeed, as was the Cornbread. We enjoyed everything individually but didn’t feel like the peanut butter tofu flavor went as well with the rest. However, the savory mashed potatoes and gravy alongside the garlic and onion sautéed kale were delish, and the cornbread was a perfect addition!

WOW! What an amazing spot. I’m visiting, and my boyfriend has been raving about this food for weeks before our trip. The food did not disappoint. Everything has been amazing. I’ve tried their veggie burger, family favorite, curry, buddha bowl, and strawberry cake. Everything tasted great, and the staff was very friendly.
