Good selection

They have a good variety of ramen available. Each dish varied and the ones we tried were delicious! They have more traditional dishes and some I've never seen before. Everything we tried was excellent.

Very friendly staff and yummy ramen!

Top notch ramen

I came on a rainy day, and there were no other customers when I arrived. I ordered at the counter, and then after I sat down, I noticed you can also order by scanning a QR code. I chose the tomato soy milk ramen, and the guy who took my order asked whether I preferred my noodles al dente or softer. It didn’t take long for the noodles to reach my table. I loved them. I could have sipped the broth all day. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and they came with lots of extras: cabbage, tofu, stewed tomato, seaweed, baby corn, and raw greens.

I’m unsure who helped me but I got the sense he might be the owner. Anyway, he speaks excellent English, and the menu is available in English or Chinese. I have no idea what it’s like when it gets busy, since this was my first time there. The space itself is well designed with good lighting. Theres a counter with five or six stools and several two and four top tables. I’ll be back here the next time I’m in Taipei.

Good ramen

This place recently opened. The atmosphere is cozy, and the ramen are good, although a little uninteresting.

Pretty good but slow service

The ramen served at Root Ramen uses really thin noodles. I liked the yuzu pepper broth and the soft tofu side dish, which was served with fresh shiso (so refreshing!). However, the service was quite slow, especially for a ramen shop. I'd still return to try their other broth flavors though.
