delicious food, good atmosphere

Ronja is a good place to have delicious food with friends and family, really nice atmosphere. Your omnivore friends will definitely find something they like. What I appreciate is that they have only a few dishes with fake meat or soy - it's *just* delicious veggies.
Most of the dishes can be made vegan if they're not already.
You might make a reservation if you'replanning a bigger group.

Best vegetarian / vegan restaurant I've been to!

Went to Ronja with my omnivore Dad and Grandma for dinner and could not imagine a better vegetarian / vegan restaurant. We shared the vegan appetizer platter, then I had the Coconut-Curry with Seitan and Veggies and we finished off with two different vegan cakes (chocolate and apricot-cream). My Dad and Grandma had two vegetarian mains (one of them was the Veggie Quiche, the other one I don't remember) and literally everything we tried was delicious and fresh.
Here are the three things that made me like my dinner at Ronja so much:
1. the choice is great - they offer snacks, mains, pizza and dessert inspired by different cuisines for vegans and vegetarians.
2. the portions are normal (often pure veg restaurants serve small portions) and satisfying.
3. the prices are affordable.
All in all a great place to eat out not only with your vegetarian friends / family, which clearly shows that a plantbased diet is full of options and won't make you starve at all.

Pros: Choice of vegan dishes (+15 vegan mains), Normal Portion Sizes, Price

Food is much better than service

We have been at Ronja for the first time very recently for dinner on a Sunday. The restaurant was quiet that evening and it was easy to get a table. It is a small place with a casual athmosphere. The menu offers a wide array of mediterranean dishes and drinks to choose from. The Food tastes like it has been made from quality ingredients and really well cooked. The dense nutritional value of the served Foods kept us from leaving hungry, while the prices are absolutely fair.
However, this is not a speedy place at all. Ordering here does take time and the delivery time is not for the hungry. The serving staff appears unenthusiastic and customer appreciation is felt accordingly. This is actually the only real minus at Ronja. Hopefully, this can be improved as we would really like to come back.

Maybe you were there on a "bad day". We always have happy and kind waiters when we eat there and we have been there a few times over the course of their opening up until now (over 2 years).

Great food and friendly staff

We ate here today for the second time, and our experience confirmed our impressions of our first visit:

The menu is a mix of middle-eastern (falafel, couscous, chickpeas, red-lentil soup, ...), Mediterranean (pasta, pizza), Asian (stir-fried vegetables with curry/coconut milk, ...) as well as middle-European dishes (seitan-based "schnitzel" with fries, ...). Most dishes are either vegan or can be made vegan upon request, e.g. by replacing tzatziki with hummus. Every single dish was freshly cooked, well-seasoned, attractively presented and tasted great. Value for money is excellent and portions are really big. The latter is acutally my only criticism (if you can call it that), because after having a starter and a main dish, we were so full that it was simply impossible for us to "fit in" a dessert. :-)

In view of all of the above, it is no surprise that the place was packed on both of our visits. This also meant that we had to wait for our food for some time, but the staff were very friendly and the waiter apologized for the delay. While waiting we were served two baskets of toasted pita-bread with some tomato/garlic(?)-based spread on it, so we did not have to starve either.

All in all, I can clearly recommend eating here.
