Delicioso

Restaurante con platos veganos y vegetarianos que no había visto aún. Todos muy ricos. Único inconveniente que solo se puede pagar en metálico. Precio correcto

Cons: Solo cash

Creative Vegetarian Cuisine in a Peaceful Setting

ROM offers a thoughtful vegetarian menu with both Vietnamese and modern dishes. Everything we tried was fresh, well-balanced, and nicely plated. The bistro has a peaceful vibe, perfect for a slow meal, and the service is warm and professional. A solid choice for vegetarian and vegan visitors in Hội An.

Good food

Good food, big portions. The restaurant is out of the busy tourist area and therefore way cheaper than other (vegan) restaurants. It's worth the detour!

Tasty spot for away from the crowds

To me, the nicest parts of Hoi An are away from the old town - and there are plenty of vegan options tucked away here and there amongst the chill residential neighborhoods and hotels. ROM is one of them. Vegetarian restaurant with local specialties, Vietnamese classics, and some other fare thrown in. Service is friendly, the space is clean and nice to sit in, and the food is yummy. All good!

Large Portions of Deliciousness

We got 3 dishes through Grab, and the food fed two people over two meals. The salad with lotus seed dressing was huuuge; the dressing was a little salty, but was better when thoroughly mixed into the greens. The Tom Yum was tangy, not very spicy. We ordered a soup special, can't remember what it was, with noodles, which was pretty good, only when compared to the other two phenomenal dishes.

Cute restaurant with lots of vegan options

I loved their tempura and the crispy fried noodles. The coconut coffee is also a must! Portions sizes are really big.
Only downside is that the vegan dishes are not clearly labeled so you have to ask the (friendly) staff.

Pros: Good taste, Big portions

Super busy local veg restaurant

We came on a Saturday night, and the place was jam-packed with locals and tourists alike.
With that in mind, we were seated at the bar, and the experience was ok.
The food was pretty good, but nothing special.
The fried spring rolls were interesting and tasty for sure.
The friend rice was lackluster.
We also had bok choy with mushroom which were good.
We might be back to try it when it's less busy.

We came back for lunch a few days later. The meal was better. We had fresh rolls, crispy noodles, and Cambodian style crispy rice with tea and coffee. It was a worthwhile meal, but nothing amazing either. A 4/5 on a good day. 🙂

Tofu with taste!

This place is probably one of the best places we’ve been to during our trip through Vietnam. We shared the bitter melon salad (be careful, it definitely is bitter but the herbs and everything around made it purely delicious). My boyfriend had the tofu mushroom stew and I had the spicy lemongrass mushroom (also included a bit of tofu).
We got there very very hungry and had full and happy tummies after.
Definitely worth it!! #Veganuary

Pros: Very little amount of non-vegan dishes (w egg), Customers are a mix of tourists and Vietnamese, Very friendly team

Amazing place!

Friendly staff, cheap prices and great vegan and vegetarian food! We asked for no onion and the friendly waitress asked us right away if we also want no egg!
The atmosphere is really good.
I can really recommend this place!
The Bánh Xèo was the best I’ve had in Vietnam so far ^^

Nice and fresh vegetarian place in Hoi an

Good restaurant in Hoi An with fresh cuisine and huge portions. You can taste that the products are homemade with love, the tea was really great tasty and the soup was huge and with a lot of fillings.

Cons: Not vegan

Some allium-free options

Staff spoke English so we could check which dishes used onion and garlic before ordering. The coconut steam rice looks really good but tastes average. The mushroom fried rice and Mi Quang noodles look average but tastes good! All three can be done without onion and garlic for Buddhist vegetarians.

Pros: Some allium-free options for Buddhist vegetarians, Air conditioning , Clean

Big portions, big flavour

The food here is delicious, which is good because the portions are very generous! Between the two of us we ordered three dishes—a noodle soup, a tofu and rice dish, and Vietnamese pancakes—and we left stuffed! The guests at the table next to us actually happened to order the exact same dishes and couldn’t finish it all. Really great value for money.

WARNING: The noodle soup comes with a little pot containing innocent-looking orange chilli slices next to a wedge of lime… Do not eat those chillies! We are typically very good with spice but OMG, we just bit off the corner and it blew our heads off. My partner was choking so much I thought he was going to throw up his food! Approach with caution.

Pros: Big portions 🫄, Big flavour 😋, Small prices 💸

Cons: Not vegan 👎

Good option outside of the old town!

Pleasant facilities, big portions, and tasty food. I managed to drag 4 of my relatives who are meat lovers to this restaurant, and they all enjoyed their dishes (stir fried noodles with veggies)! Big success! The Mi Quang is amazing value. At VND 35,000, it's only VND 5,000 more expensive than at much more basic eateries around town, and you get a bigger portion, plus it's tastier. Will definitely return.

Solid option

The food was good, the tempura was just meh, it tastes just very fried, but that's on me, just wasn't what I thought it would be, they use different veggies to deep-fry though, so if you're in the mood for that it's good. The pineapple rice was a solid option, thought it could do with a bit more pineapple though. The staff was not the friendliest, but alright. The place is nice.
