Completely vegan Rewe at Warschauer Brücke in Berlin. - Edit
Awesome concept. No label checking needed - just packing up. Although the store could be a little bit larger you will find everything you need from fresh fruits and vegetables over baked goods to drinks and convenient food.

So great to go somewhere you can eat anything they have! Picked up sushi and salad bowls and lots of snacks! They also have gluten free options and bread which is fantastic.

What isn't there to love? We visited this grocery several times during our stay, especially in the morning for a quick and easy breakfast. The veggie schnitzel sandwich was definitely our favorite, but the bakery section was also pretty nice with the selection of bread rolls and sweets like chocolate croissants. They also have a coffee machine and a soft serve ice cream machine that was fun to try. In general they have the best selection of vegan proteins, yogurts, candy and takeaway meals.

Felt surreal to visit this supermarket! It was just like any supermarket with all the regular stuff you need in everyday life but everything was vegan. We were really impressed about the selection of cold cuts for sandwiches, and the salad and fruit bar. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Berlin!!

The decent prices and huge vegan range make this place an awesome experience!! Do yourself a favour and get the 89cent choc filled pastry 🤤🤤🤤 not only was it value for money but it was also warm, and melt in your mouth flaky. Tasted so gourmet!! Picked up a big haul of treats to take home to Australia with me. Wow!!!!

Vegan outlet of a German supermarket chain. To be fair the usual outlets have quite a nice selection of vegan products too, but this outlet in particular has lots of vegan bread, a vegan salad bar, vegan ready meals, etc. Not a large outlet but I appreciated that it’s fully vegan! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Secret Garden Vegan Sushi is located within the same building. Near Warschauer Straße S-Bahn and U-Bahn station, also within walking distance from East Side Gallery.

Im Grunde auch nur ein Rewe. Was aber echt cool ist: die Produkte aus eigener Herstellung (belegte Semmeln etc.), die Salatbar sowie die Softeismaschine. Die Auswahl an Backwaren hat mir auch gut gefallen. Gerade da ist es schon entspannter, wenn man nicht erst die Zutatenliste lesen muss.
Read moreBei den restlichen Produkten kannten wir zwar das meiste schon, aber wir konnten auch was Neues ausprobieren.
Aus der eigenen Herstellung haben wir den Kartoffelsalat und zwei Dessertcremes probiert, hat gut geschmeckt, war für mich aber zu viel Verpackungsmüll (Verpackung nicht mal 1/3 gefüllt).
Bei den Backwaren haben wir abgepackte Brownies mit, sehr lecker 😋
Der Rewe ist ziemlich klein und eng und dadurch schnell überfüllt. Es gibt nur SB-Kassen, was für uns persönlich aber kein Problem darstellt

Dieser Rewe hat nur vegane Produkte. Man spürt wie beliebt der Rewe ist weil immer Kunden da sind. Da sieht man selbst wenn Fleisch verboten wäre, Supermärkte funktionieren trotzdem.

Der Rewe hat uns ziemlich überzeugt. So würden wir uns die Zukunft vorstellen. Alles vegan & mensch muss beim Einkaufen nicht lange nachdenken oder irgendwelche Zutatenlisten lesen. Macht definitiv Spaß. Die Auswahl ist vergleichbar mit dem veganen Angebot in üblichen größeren Rewe Filialen. Für unseren Geschmack dürfte es noch etwas mehr sein & auch die von Rewe schon getestete vegane Frischetheke, würde dem Laden sicher gut stehen und das Erlebnis abrunden.

Not having to search for vegan products in the supermarket is very pleasant. But we weren't blown away by the range of products on offer, apart from the fresh baked goods and sandwiches. Most of the products can also be found in supermarkets in our neighbourhood.

Es ist schön, dass hier weiter ein komplett Veganer Supermarkt ist. Hoffentlich folgen noch weitere Filialen. Die Auswahl könnte aber definitiv besser sein. Es ist halt einfach das normale Rewe Sortiment, nur halt ohne Tierausbeutung. Das Sortiment von Veganz (Der Supermarkt der hier vorher drin war) war deutlich besser.

I guess there isn't a so much wider vegan range here than in other Berlin Rewes.
Read moreBut the cognitive ballast that drops when you no longer reflexively scan every product for labels and ingredients is enormous. An airiness that vegans are no longer familiar with. Especially in categories such as bakery items, salad bar, wines or freshly prepared refrigerated goods.
For me, this experience alone is worth a visit. You will certainly find a few exotics as well, but mostly in the higher price bracket.
The store relies entirely on self-checkout, possibly due to the limited space. During my visit, however, there were several employees present that customers had the opportunity to talk to.

Really cool vegan supermarket with lots of different kind of products. It is small and packed and you can't find everything that you need, but you can find a lot of stuff. I got the last item of 2-3 things when I went there - lucky.

I go there if I want to check out new brands or products since there is always something new. Love the bakery aisle, the baked goods I had so far were all incredibly delicious. Try the freshly made spreads, I always take one with me, really delicious.

I wish there were more stores like this all over Germany. Sadly a lot of the most interesting products are ones you can only buy if you bring a cooler bag with you, but I loved the bread/pastry bar because for the first time in my life I was able to buy the pastry I wanted at a supermarket. Both were delicious too! Some items I wish were there are missing, that's the reason for "only" four stars.
