Wanted to love it - Edit
This place has a lot of potential and I like the vibe. The pick-up service was very efficient and a breeze. Food was ready to be picked up on time under a heater. Loved the eco friendly packaging, too.
Read moreThe food however, was kind of lacking. I had the KBLT and it was somehow overpowering yet under-seasoned - it didn’t hit. My friend got the cinnamon roll and the bottom was drenched in oil which made it completely inedible, and the flavor was a bit bland. They also got the cauliflower tacos and Mac and cheese, and both were missing seasoning to bring more flavor in.
Probably wouldn’t go back until there’s some improvement and new menu items. I do believe that it has potential, though.
Pros: Fully vegan , Nice interior
Cons: Lack of flavor, bland food

Cool vibe vegan joint - Edit
Order at the window and have a seat in the quaint side yard. We got the mac and cheese and a burger. Both were great! I wanted to order the cauliflower but hate buffalo. Unfortunately they didn't have any barbecue sauce to substitute so we passed. Another joint that doesn't do tips which was very interesting to me as a visitor. The staff seemed a little overworked with longer wait times and no one coming out to clean tables. I'd blame the pandemic worker shortage.

The best vegan food I've had in the Twin Cities - Edit
Every aspect of Reverie ticked my boxes. Great staff, atmosphere and food. But the food... I had Reverie for the first time last night. I left absolutely amazed that I hadn't been to this gem in Minneapolis. The Tofu Tacos were incredible. The tofu had a crisp to it that I've never experienced before. The Longhaul Burger was fantastic. It's a homemade patty that doesn't mimic meat in any way but is moist and retains it's shape (not mushy). I don't know how they achieve that texture. As first timers, we were told we must try the Nachos. They were truly amazing. Do note that the cheese is underneath the chips. We didn't realize right away. They also have a fantastic beer list. We will be back at our soonest opportunity!

Great spot for food and community - Edit
Amazing food! Beer, ciders and wine available to have with your dinner. Wonderful staff! Open for brunch on the weekends. My favorite meal is the mac and cheese or for brunch the breakfast sandwich on one of the best vegan biscuits I’ve had. The outdoor eating area is beautiful, filled with art and often community gatherings for meetings, music or other events.

My favorite vegan restaurant ever - Edit
I’ve been to many vegan restaurants in and out of the Twin Cities, and Reverie is still my favorite. I keep coming back! Almost everything is house made, and they don’t try to exactly replicate non-vegan items. To me, they want to make their food good first and foremost, replication second. Which makes it always absolutely delicious. If you’re trying to choose a vegan place to eat at in the Twin Cities, this is it.

The mac & cheese with shiitake bacon has been a long-time favorite, but the Curbside Burger is a recent favorite! Their housemade burger patties are one of the best I've had! I also highly recommend their Buffalo cauliflower with their delicious ranch with the perfect amount of dill!

My daughter and I both got the mac n' cheeze with shitake bacon and HOLY COW... hands down, absolutely BEST vegan mac and cheese I have ever eaten! It was so creamy and rich! The shitake bacon added a nice sweet taste to it as well!

He was only able to eat about half of it! The house made ranch was also amazing! Definitely, definitely go here!!
Pros: All Vegan! , Delicious!!, So many options!!

Powderhorn Park Gem - Edit
The space is so beautiful and it’s a great location. I’ve been in many times and will continue to return. Happy to support an all vegan restaurant. I haven’t quite found my menu item yet, but for sharing I really like the jackfruit nachos and the Mac & cheese. The artichoke dip was ok. Although I’m a big fan of Brussel sprouts, I did not care for the preparation here and wouldn’t order them again. Far too much smoke flavoring. I wish they’d tone down that ingredient on other items too. On another occasion I had the cauliflower Po-boy which might have been better fried (trying to steer away from fried foods, which is not easy to do here.) I ordered it roasted and didn’t think it worked as a sandwich. I did have a taste of the veg burger and it was quite good! The beignets and the rosemary potatoes were excellent. Interesting menu and I imagine they are still working with it.

The best. Period. - Edit
Vegan or not, Reverie has the most delicious food I've eaten, hands down. I'm so glad the community has stepped up and backed their latest brick-and-mortar endeavor.
Read moreWhile most vegan restaurants heavily rely on fake meats and other highly-processed vegan foods, Reverie uses more whole foods and minimally-processed foods. Their tacos (both cauliflower and lemongrass tofu) are to die for.
