Top-quality restaurant with excellent vegan options - Edit
We ate there a month ago. The service is impeccable, and the food is excellent. In my case, I had the chickpeas with mushrooms (not listed on the menu, but do go in and ask for them!), which are vegan. They were absolutely delicious. I should also mention that the bread is really tasty, and that for the aperitif they brought a mushroom pâté, if I remember correctly, which was also vegan. For dessert, I was also able to choose a vegan option: marinated strawberries with mandarin sorbet, very refreshing and the perfect finish to a 10/10 meal.
We had the garbanzos with local mushrooms. We let them know that we are vegan and they also brought us roasted vegetables that were perfectly cooked and delicious. For dessert we had strawberries soaked in hot water to bring out the flavor with tangerine sherbet on top. Super friendly and eager to please. Thanks to Happy Cow for leading us to a most memorable meal!
In a town without and vegetarian/ vegan restaurants, this place has options. Mushrooms are a star of the menu and they will work with you to give you vegetarian dishes. We had the garbanzo stew with seasonal mushrooms (delicious!) and the slow cooked eggs with a different type of mushroom. They also had mushroom carpaccio and other vegetarian pasta options. Best bet in a town full of meat.
